I guess I don't really care about why. I just want to find one that works!!! One that I can just go to some store, throw my cash down and walk out just another anonymous customer, registerng it online and then renewing my TER account.
But I want a gift card, not a prepaid card that wants verification, that works with ccBillEu. One that does card address verification with ccBillEu. Card issuers I've used successfully before seem to be gone. Others e.g. gift2go aren't working with ccBill as they do not do address verification which is required. Vanilla seems to be issued by the same bank so I expect it to have the same issue and I can't just keep collecting these cards that won't work.
Sooooo, anyone have a VISA or MC gift card that works? Please don't just say go to Walmart or PigglyWiggly or whereever and get theirs as it isn't the store but the bank issuer behind the card e.g. gift2go, vanilla, etc that seem to be the factor and the retail stores can change which cards they carry.
Yes, I know if I find someplace to issue an international money order (which the USPS does not do for the Netherlands) I can mail it in. Sorry if I sound testy...but I am. Thanks

If the issuer does not offer that feature, I think the card will only work where they can actually swipe it into a terminal (i.e. retaurant, retail store, etc.) where you are physically present to hand the cashier the card.
The last VISA gift card I tried indicated one could make online purchases...well you can, but NOT if the biller wants to do address matching/verification. This was hidden in the small print on the inside paperwork and not on the outside. So gift2go won't work. Vanilla VISA was previously reported to have problems as as well.
There are NO prepaid Mastercards that I have been able to find in my area. That is what I used about 6-7 months ago on my last succcessful renewal. It was issued by RBS and registered at cardbalance123 IIRC, however there seems to have been "issues" with those cards/institution and they were all recalled which I was told when asking about them.
Greendot is one that will work. The temp card they give you does not work because of the international location. But register online and have the card mailed to you. Once you get the REAL debit card (with your name imprinted on it) it will work.
My giftcard would not go through to the site since the gift card specifically blocks international transactions. I believe there servers are not in the US.
