While your observations may be on point, there is no need to bitch about things you can't change. Face reality... focus on playing with those who you can afford and offer what you want. No need to get so melodramatic.

You’ve found providers at the $400 price point that completely meet your needs and fulfill your fantasies. Good for you! Give yourself a pat on the back.
Then you ventured into $700-800 land and weren’t as satisfied, certainly not doubly satisfied. It reads like you’re upset with the provider, but maybe you were so focused on the lighter wallet you’ld be leaving the encounter with, you had a predetermined bias against that provider’s ability to deliver a completely satisfying experience. In short, when you move out of your financial comfort zone, stress is going to factor in.
Finally, pricing and ratings are always somewhat relative. There are thousands of colleges in the US, certainly each campus has a bevy of “cheerleader” attractive girls who would rate 9/10, would charge $400, and receive “could model in New York if she wanted to”. Then there’s the reality of the much smaller universe of young women who make that cut, go to New York, get signed with an agency and actually work as models. If you want to spend time with one of those 9/10 looks women, you can. But it’s going to cost you a lot more than $350 an hour.
Same goes for other aspects, like “worldly well educated, well travelled women”. State university credit hours, break at Daytona? For $300 an hour, you’ve got the date. Ivy League credentials, summers in Europe? Might cost you >$1,000 for time with her.
A provider is going to charge what she’s going to charge. It’s probably based on a combination of what her goals are and what she believes the market will bear. Over time, that rate might rise or fall for a variety of reasons.
Bottom line, if her price is beyond your budget, c`est la vie.

Speaking of Escorts, for about the same price as a 20 year old Ferrari that sold for $100,000 brand new, you can buy 100 (not a typo) Ford Escort RSs which have more horsepower, torque, handle better, and don't need a $1,000 tune up every 3,000 miles.
Compared to that, your complaint is rather minor.
You get int the Ferrari and you realize, the seats fucking hurt! The cars too small, it’s too much to take care off right? But with Ford it’s reliable you love it because of all the specs, that’s how I see it around here you guys have double or triple my age I guess the younger guys see it different
Consideration is all personal. I always book two hours and prefer higher consideration. For me it's almost $1000-1200. But, it's funny because some ladies who don't know they are "worth more" charge less. For instance, I've seen two ladies recently who charged less than $1000 for two hours. I would have easily paid $1500 for two hours. Then there's the opposite. I saw one lady who I thought was going to be amazing. Her consideration was $1200 for two hours but I wouldn't have paid more than $800 max.
A few days ago a lady emailed me asking if I wanted to meet. She's lovely with an amazing body, but her consideration was north of $1500 for one hour. No thank you. It's really hit or miss and again all personal for the lady.
You the only sensible and actually give worthy insight of how shit is around here rather than these 50+ year old men who want to ridicule a man who sees nothing special about those females and call it complaining, I call it how it how I see it. These tricks got conditioned.
At the end of the day this is a personal business. A lady chooses what she wants to charge. Either the market is there or it's not. I'm a real face person, so when I meet a lady who's "real life" beautiful with a goddess body and is amazing in bed...consideration is out the window! Three hour meeting with champaign? Yup! Overnight? Haven't done one yet, but I may with one special lady 
It's up to the man to choose if the consideration is worth the experience and everyone is different.
I don't pay inflated prices for mediocre looks/service either, but I don't feel the need to whine about women who charge what I consider "too much". "Too much" is such a relative term in the first place. In NYC a LOT of women are in the $1,000 hr range and are not considered "too much" by their clientele, Now take those same women and bring them down to Bogota and they'd be laughed at for trying to get $100 hr. So who defines what is "too much".
I have a suggestion for you, see who YOU want to, and pay what YOU think is fair and quit your fucking whining already.

You should have read her reviews before booking a session with a HDH, and if she didn't have reviews it's your fault for overpaying for an unreviewed provider.
Now if she had reviews that proved to be false about her looks, menu, etc, then you have a right to be mad and the people you should be mad at are the guys who lied about her in their reviews of her, and those are the people you should be directing your ire towards. I have a sneaking suspicion that the person you are really mad at is YOURSELF for buying into the bullshit that paying substantially "over market" is going to guarantee you a great session. Most of us already know that, so we don't have to come on the board to whine about it. Every provider is different. The subject of what you get for more $$ comes up on one board or another every week. Maybe it's looks, maybe a better incall hotel, maybe she really is lower volume or doesn't watch the clock. Maybe there's no difference at all.
Back to my point, if you're not going to write reviews when you had a "lesser time" than just stick to the average priced experience and don't concern yourself about what other people do. Live close to a freeway off-ramp, drive a Ford, and fly coach. Some of us like living in big houses, driving expensive cars, and flying first class.
..some gals charge much less than myself and been subject to unfortunate experiences. Respectively, they may have also given mediocre performances as well (if I’m only basing it off client reviews) . I guess in my situation I felt quality over quantity was ideal. Additionally, I have had great feedback regarding my naked time skill-set. Pairing those two certainties together; then taking into account that I’m in school for my Masters, have a very demanding day job, and active social and personal life, I concluded I wanted to keep this little hobby fun every time I was lucky enough to be booked.
Those are only my reasons, I’m certain most providers have their own reasoning that fits within their own personal experience. So far I have only had a handful of experiences, and frankly each one of them has been amazing. Ultimately, I’d like to keep that trend going.
Either way perhaps keeping your providers within the 400-500 range is a safe bet for you since you’re satisfied with them? Hell, maybe they’re under charging and hopefully they don’t see this post and raise their rates! 😜

But there is not a direct correlation between an hourly rate and the quality of service. There never has been nor ever will be. YMMV. Stick to where you are the happiest.
We'd go to lunch every once in a while and I dreaded the day -- this guy was "frugal," shall we say. Since he was the boss, he got to choose the place, so I just put up with the situation. The issue was that he wanted to go to the place just cuz it was the cheapest place in driving distance and lunch was $3! As you can imagine, the food wasn't very good but there was PLENTY of it (of course).
His take was "Hey, it's $3 -- how BAD could it be?" My take was, Hey, it's $3 -- how GOOD could it be?"
Days when I was on my own and went out to lunch, I'd find really good food within 10 minutes for $4-5, but then I took the time to do some research and find what I wanted at the price point I was comfortable paying. But I never criticized the boss' choice, as long as I didn't have to go with him -- it was his choice.
Needless to say, I never did a duo with him!
Had this same discussion on the MN board. I live in the middle of WI, have very little competition right near me, but I am considered on the "higher end" for my area. ($250/hr). My cost of living is low here and I am able to see one or two clients a day and still make a generous amount of money. I love my job, and I also love repeat clients.
A gal can charge whatever she wants. Shop around and read reviews. Good luck finding someone in your price range that also everything you hoped she would be and more.
