Give 10 people a set of facts, you will get 10 interpretations.  All believe that theirs is correct, and will argue the point ad nauseum.

This is not a POLITICAL statement. It is an appeal to let people think and say what they wish in the name of good fucking.

What if you came to this site and that the subject line was all you saw? That's what we'll get one day if we let the fringe groups, the neo-natzis and others fucktards take over this country. One of the greatest and enduring freedoms is having a fucking opinion and not having someone chop off your hand for having it. Too often we allow assholes to tell us what and how we should say, think, do. Fuck them and horse they rode in on. Caligula Now!

What is rare are informed opinions backed up by facts.

Everybody has a right to free speech, and the listener has the right to come to the conclusion the speaker is an idiot.

Everybody has judgements. It is tiring when people who have no organized belief system think that somehow makes them more objective. Puhleeze.

Society will put constraints on you if you want society to interact with you. If you do not want to interact with society, go to the cave and talk to yourself.

That's really good advice GB but it doesn't/shouldn't minimize someone's ability to shoot their mouthes off. I love informed opinions and even then it's just an opinion. There is a thin line between fact and belief because the opinion giver cannot be unencumbered from all the shit they bring with that opinion, even when they are learned and otherwise outstanding.

I agree we are partly the sum of our genetics and experiences. Differing from animals, we have the potential for higher reasoning as well.

Our society today too often veers to the crude. Comedy is a prime example. Things before Carlin didn't all of a sudden become unfunny. There was a better appreciation of what would be called 'wit'.

"mouth shooting" can be an interesting diversion, but when it becomes normalized, it becomes boring and tedious.
