basic site is all that is needed.  When I call someone and i get music instead of a ring I hang up.  but if you are going to invest in a web page make sure that the pictures go from thumbnail size to a big enough size to see.

If you want the providers to take you seriously then step out from behind that Alias when you complain about them. Your Alias carries far less credit than those sites.

Some ladies have simple, to-the-point, sites cuz they don't have to go with all the bells and whistles. Their phones ring off the hook from us cuz we know what we're instore for.

movers take too long to load...  have nothing to do with the services.  Except they're pretty.  We live in a world of extra data...  all this extra data has to load every time the site is clicked on, just the ads that get crammed down our throat.  I'll spend more time looking at a site...  if it actually loads & become vieweable that much quicker.

I dont have an issue with an Alias. I have an issue when an Alias says negative things about a provider or how they do business. The alias takes no responsibility for their statement or actions and shows no practical experience to draw an opinion from. Its a matter of accountability. And your right it is a board that allows an Alias, and its a board that allows multiple opinions. My opinion is exactly as I pointed out. His opinion is exactly what he stated. Your opinion is what you just posted. Again I have no issue with that.

I make no bones that I don't like alias's. TER does not tell me I have to like them, nor is it a condition of membership. When you want to laugh and joke an Alias is fine with me. When you want to get down to business I want to know what level of responsibility a person has when I take into consideration what they have to say.

1) sometimes they can be humorous and entertaining
2) sometimes they can protect against adverse reactions, but better when covering someone else's tushie from the consequences

as for your site. it is practically perfect in being informative about you and your services. (good music is good regardless of when it was written. i am surprised that you get dinged for classic rock by Mr Alias. one lady entertains me with Bach's Goldberg variations in the background, another with tunes from Cole Porter's musicals. it's all good.)

but back to your site: while there are no lapses in taste. there are no lapses in taste there is a logical lapse in the screening section. i cannot figure out which of your 3 screening categories i belong: infrequent hobbyist, casual hobbyist, or exceptional scoundrel. in fairness you note that it is not a perfectly rigorous categorization.

i am not an infrequent hobbyist because i have a DC membership BUT i have fewer than 3 references in the last year. many of the ladies i see are old established friends who are wary of the reference system and will not participate in it.

I'm not a casual hobbyist since i have way more than 3 OKs on DC: i have 8. but i am not an exceptional scoundrel on two counts: the reference issue again and only one new review last year.

First off your correct. As a few of my clients will be happy to vouch, My birthday was in October. I have submitted that change. Feel free to use your TER ID to PM a few and ask if they helped me celebrate that birthday. Many of us need to surf discreetly and anonymously. We use proxy sites or software that blocks stuff that can be a problem later (cookies, scripts, potential malware, etc..) as well as things of more immediate concern (music, slow loading pages that freeze up a computer just as someone unexpected comes over and looks over your shoulder).

Please keep your websites friendly to those who have to surf quickly, safely and anonymously. NO FLASH! (a total killer), no fancy animations, no scripts that some software will block as possible sources of malware, fast loading pages so I don't have to "accidentally" pull the plug while the display is frozen and someone comes in to my office ... Keep your site friendly to low-tech, not high-tech.

Maybe have more than one version of your site: "Click here for [flash]. Click here for [mobile]. Click here for vanilla [html]."  (I am high-tech for everything but deliberately low-tech for hobbying.)

Besides, I use a much faster browser where flash works just fine and at much faster speeds...  No need for me to bitch about flash because while they don't play on Apple products, they work just fine on devices I use.

Adobe Flash does make things more dynamic. Some of us don't live in the HTML stone age. lol

I agree that Flash needs to go. Doesn't work on iOS devices. Music is  a killer as the ultimate NSFW add-on.

For advertising purposes, you do NOT need Flash, bells, whistles or dynamite.  A well designed low-tech site can be very informative, appealing and effective.
