So last night I turn on the hockey game between the New York Rangers and the Columbus Blue Jackets.  At the top of the screen is that little graphic, which all sports fans are familiar with, that displays the score of the game.  It says, "NYR 0  CBJ 1."  My mind automatically jumps to "covered blow job."  Once I realize what my demented sex-addled brain had done, I burst out laughing.  Of course, wifey wants to know what I find so funny, so I make up some lame story about remembering an old joke.

Do similar things happen to any of you?

The Lazy Dog Inn Bed & Breakfast.  Had me laughing and telling my wife we should stop there for the night.  She didn't get the reference and was like "What?  We're going to Vermont why would we stay here?"  I mumbled something about how quaint it was then shut up and kept driving.  We had friends that lived nearby so when she persisted I made an excuse about stopping over to say hi to them too.

Photo Shop Elements.  Of course every time I see that icon I think of the other.

Also, where I work we use lots of abbreviations, some VERY close to hobby abbreviations, so I have to be very careful not to make the wrong kind of typo when my mind is on "other" things!

I'm not sure if her service is a national firm. In AZ the company you submit a request for a plumber, handyman, roofer, etc. and she will linr you up with a local "provider"

Jehovah Witness couple. We met at at restaurant and they had an attractive lady with them. They introduced her as their escort. I thought this is going to be one fuckin memorable night, so I said "Meet Sweet Melissa, my escort and let's get this party started!" I found out rather quickly we were talking two different types of escorts. lol

I have occasionally typed my TER ID# instead of my employee number.

We have an acronym at work "GFE". I can't remember what it stands for, but we use it when we are reporting an elevator is down.

they use GFE for Good Faith Estimate. So when I bought my first place about 4-5 yrs ago, the realtor kept talking about GFE. And after repeated use of it, I just couldn't hold off breaking into laughter. He asked me what was funny with a smirk on his face. I think he was a John too.. :D

they gave him that kind of contract

Braves owe him 45 mill for next 3 yrs (avg 15 mill each year). I hope they send him to AAA to improve his swing and work on his BA.  Ain't no one going to buy that contact in the market.
