that you can give away for free all you want, but is a crime to buy or sell?

I've thought real hard about it and didn't come up with anything..

Another example is any professional service or advice without a license.

But the difference is - all of the above are made illegal to sell in order to protect the consumer from rip-offs, cons, and frauds.

Sex is one of the only activities that can be freely given and freely accepted - but is a crime to BUY.

Puts is in the rareified air of things like drugs, narcotics, or criminal activities for hire.

But I'm sure the fundamentalists are only looking out for my best interests when their laws threaten me with criminal sanctions for engaging in activities that endanger my immortal soul.

Don't know about you - but I'm really glad they care.

or even to give it away, but its illegal to sell the deer meat because it doesn't comply with FDA standards.  I think the exception is if the deer is raised in captivity, but don't quote me on the latter. I am not 100% sure.

is ok, as in the porn industry, but god forbid you want to partake "directly", now that's just crossing the line.

Not long ago someone on the Legal Board suggested that it is unconstitutional to make illegal an activity that involves an exchange of money when that activity is legal when practice free of charge.

However, given that there seems to be a myriad of activities that are legal when free, but require extensive licensing or regulation when done for a fee, (And I, for one, am glad of that.) I don't see this argument gaining too much traction.

...I thought it was another case of somebody who neglected to put an "eom" at the end of a short post.

"Is there anything else on the planet other than sex? eom"

You can put em up for adoption but ya can't legally sell them.  Though personally I'd never give up my kids, I love em too much.

have children yourself, is I think the scariest thing I've read on here in a while. WOW. (shakes head) WTF. Where am I LOL. There are enough children in this world who need a good home. You opted to have children, so take care of them, and do it well. Christ.

It strikes me as ridiculous that I can go to a bar and get a guy to fuck and it's all free and fine but because I choose to do it for a living suddenly it's terrible and illegal and I have to jump through hoops and silly rules to avoid LE.
In Australia it's legal, no one bothers you and LE can get on with doing a real job of work - trying to catch people speeding hahahaha

HOW DARE YOU! Insinuate anything!  Christ, that sort of stuff is always in the news.  The fact that in this day and age I have to fear for my children's safety every damn day is always on my mind and THATS why I thought of it.  You can get down off your sanctimonious pulpit now and stop throwing fear into the conversation.  You need help lady.

Still today she know's when her hunting buddy calls

Almost a good answer...Yes it's 100% Illegal to sell, BUT it is 100% Legal to Purchase from a licensed Venison Ranch . You are correct though the FDA is always worried about anything they don't regulate.......actually good it's not legal to sell our harvested Deer. Imagine how much more Poaching there would be if there was PROFIT to be made !!!!

I agree that the laws against prostitution are crazy, but the media frenzy about sex trafficking will make that difficult to change.  All you ever see in the media is girls on the street being pimped out.  You never see the upper level ladies who made a conscious decision to become sex workers.  Some places are trying to sort that out, but it'll be a long time coming to the US.

So you accuse him of being a monster?  Now in one thread you've talked about how pleased my dead Mom must be and then flamed this guy for what everyone else (Including Cosette.  See above) find funny or innocuous.
This is the clearest possible illustration of why people find you intolerably judgmental and holier-than-thou.  Stop lecturing and talking down to people.
I was going to lay off, but this is just really too much.  You need help lady.  Really.
