I'm curious to see that the board says about clients asking for face pics, AFTER the appointment.  

Does he want to spank his monkey to your pic in between appointments?

Facial recognition software... especially when considering photos that might have been posted in newspapers, civive websites (corporate/organization bios), and/or social media.  

Just my take and clearly don't know the details but unless there's a solid relationship and good history that just cannot be a good plan in my view.

stalkers, if not quite 'forever', tend to have alarming longevity.

My day job used to bring me into contact with some pretty creepy people as clients, and the one thing that seemed to be a constant is that many had this thing about collecting photos... not everyone who wants a photo is creepy but why take the risk, especially if they have asked for it.  

(He's someone I've seen once, for a short appointment. He asked me to send a selfie of my face, a few days after we'd met.)

NOOOOOOOO. Under these circumstances, never in a million billion years!

It's a big company, and I have no indication that they've even ever met... but still, way too close for comfort.

Unless you're totally out front with what you do in this world, I think we need to default to minimizing risk. I'm guessing the phrase 'just my luck' was coined by someone who didn't.

Using them to show others.
Either to show off to civvy friends, "Look who I'm fucking!" Or to show to hobby buddies, "Here is what she really looks like."

I have heard of asking for face pics before an appointment. I can see reasons for a client asking for that, but I can also see really good reasons for a provider to decline. As for after the date I can't imagine a good reason for a client to ask for a face pic.

However, those tend to be clients with whom I have an established relationship.  

I understand the safety issue so I would never ask for face pics.

In fact, I'm still at zero. I'm sure someone will be able to come up with one non creepy reason, but I doubt anyone can come up with 5!

The providers I did get pics of were all established relationships, many of them where we both know each other's personal info. Never a first date.

He just wants the pic to show to the surgeons and stylists because he wants to look just like her after the transformation. What's creepy about that?

a zip-lock bag first, so when you blow your load, the photo stays dry so you can use it again.  She may have the nicest smile you've ever come across, but if you ruin the photo, she may not give you another one when you tell her what happened to the old one.

Jacking off to a photo of a sex worker doesn't make anybody a creep... I really wasn't saying that. I guess that's fairly common. But why does he need a face photo?  

When I was a mere lad, I jerked off to pictures in the brassier section of the Sears catalog.

I honestly wasn't sure if it was creepy. Under different circumstances, I might have considered it.

I can understand the desire to have some unblurred photographs of your favourite provider, as a memento and as a souvenir for that inevitable day when she retires and you're left with nothing but your memories
