TER General Board

When I first asked...

I'm curious to see that the board says about clients asking for face pics, AFTER the appointment.

Assume, for this situation, that there are no face pics provided on the provider's site or ads.

Would you/have you requested this? If so, after how many appointments? What was your purpose in asking?

If she refused, what did you think/say?

(There is a little bit more to this story, but I probably won't post it here.)

Does he want to spank his monkey to your pic in between appointments?

Is he falling for you and wants a constant memory of you?

Does he want to save your pic on his phone so your picture pops up next to your hooker name saved in his phone?

None of these sound like very good reasons, not from your side of the equation at least.

Facial recognition software... especially when considering photos that might have been posted in newspapers, civive websites (corporate/organization bios), and/or social media.

There is even more to this, I'll PM you as soon as I am able >:-[

Just my take and clearly don't know the details but unless there's a solid relationship and good history that just cannot be a good plan in my view.

Even tho' digital pics don't have negatives the way old fashioned film pics had negatives, I still mostly see the negatives.

A face pic to search for your other non-hobby pics using image searching software. Hellooooo Facebook Friend!

A face pic to potentially out you on some other site. Heck, he could even post it to a discussion on TER (and probably get banned, but water under the bridge).

Once your pic posted publicly somewhere (ad, website) or given to someone for exclusive personal use, it is OUT OF YOUR CONTROL. There are no take backs.

Perhaps you can offer to take a side-by-side face-by-face selfie on your phone and email it to him. Even if he crops himself out of the pic, you can still have a tit-for-tat by virtue of the original of the face-by-face.

(If he says, "No! You can't have a pic of me! Even if it gets out accidentally or by hacking, I'd be in big trouble with friends and family!" then you can say, "I'm rubber and you're glue. Everything you say to me bounces right back to you.")

If you are totally comfortable with the guy and trust him, go for it. If you haven't reached that stage yet, I see ZERO problem if you choose to withhold a face pic.

I just checked by wallet (leather wallet, not digital wallet). I'm still carrying around a glamour pin-up photo of Betty Grable. I tell everybody it's a picture of my girlfriend

My day job used to bring me into contact with some pretty creepy people as clients, and the one thing that seemed to be a constant is that many had this thing about collecting photos... not everyone who wants a photo is creepy but why take the risk, especially if they have asked for it.

I've had women send me pics, and in fact we've exchanges pics post appointment but that was always initiated by her.

(He's someone I've seen once, for a short appointment. He asked me to send a selfie of my face, a few days after we'd met.)

One of my relatives works in his company.

I could just imagine him showing off a photo of his 'new girlfriend' to some of his work buddies. THAT would be awkward!!

It's a big company, and I have no indication that they've even ever met... but still, way too close for comfort.

Weirdly, I also have another client from that same corporation.

Unless you're totally out front with what you do in this world, I think we need to default to minimizing risk. I'm guessing the phrase 'just my luck' was coined by someone who didn't.

Using them to show others.
Either to show off to civvy friends, "Look who I'm fucking!" Or to show to hobby buddies, "Here is what she really looks like."

See my post about creepy reasons under GaG's post above. I just posted that, then scrolled down here and read your post. :)

I have heard of asking for face pics before an appointment. I can see reasons for a client asking for that, but I can also see really good reasons for a provider to decline. As for after the date I can't imagine a good reason for a client to ask for a face pic.

I have received pics from providers, before, during, after, and in between dates, but those were always their idea. I would never ask.

However, those tend to be clients with whom I have an established relationship.

Other clients get told to check my site for new photos, that I prefer to be discreet, not to bother me for selfies b/c I have a busy life. Blah, blah, blah.

There are clients I've seen regularly for 3-6+ years... if one of them asked me for a face pic (so long as he wouldn't ask for a different selfie every day - some do get carried away) I wouldn't have a problem w/that. (I can only think of ONE client who's ever asked).

For the most part, those clients already know my name (at least, my first name)... and I know theirs (and their wives' names, in some cases).

There's a little bit more to it, as I said above (not on my end - on his).

I understand the safety issue so I would never ask for face pics.

But I also understand that I like to have memories of the ladies I have seen.  I know it is being mocked here as "creepy" to spank your monkey to someone's picture, but I say too bad for that view.

I don't need a lecture from the Reverend GaGasbag on whether my fantasies are of sufficient purity for his liking

In fact, I'm still at zero. I'm sure someone will be able to come up with one non creepy reason, but I doubt anyone can come up with 5!

The providers I did get pics of were all established relationships, many of them where we both know each other's personal info. Never a first date.

I did see your "little more to it" post above. That just makes it more creepy.

He just wants the pic to show to the surgeons and stylists because he wants to look just like her after the transformation. What's creepy about that?

a zip-lock bag first, so when you blow your load, the photo stays dry so you can use it again.  She may have the nicest smile you've ever come across, but if you ruin the photo, she may not give you another one when you tell her what happened to the old one.

Jacking off to a photo of a sex worker doesn't make anybody a creep... I really wasn't saying that. I guess that's fairly common. But why does he need a face photo?

You did day that it's a line you wouldn't cross. Just due to the fact that it IS a safety and privacy issue.

When I was a mere lad, I jerked off to pictures in the brassier section of the Sears catalog.

I honestly wasn't sure if it was creepy. Under different circumstances, I might have considered it.

I just knew that I felt uncomfortable in this particular instance... and probably would feel that way 9.99 times of out 10.

However, that's because of the privacy issues... and NOT because a guy might - gasp! - be jerking off to a photograph.

I can understand the desire to have some unblurred photographs of your favourite provider, as a memento and as a souvenir for that inevitable day when she retires and you're left with nothing but your memories

However, I can't think of any way of asking that wouldn't come across as creepy, as others have mentioned, plus she's perfectly entitled to her privacy so would be well within her rights to refuse anyway, and by asking now are you running the risk of spoiling things between you?
