END OF MESSAGE

Question to anyone..
Whats your thoughts on "the end of your time in the hobby?"
If you have a sig other do you have an exit strategy? Shutting down emails, accounts etc.?
At some point you either leave the hobby or leave this earth and the sig other finds the other side of you.

Just a thought as i sit here on a COLD Chicago night thinking about my PHX trip this wkend and the fun that awaits me (besides the business meetings LOL)

There's no contact info or messages on it but it has minutes on it which says everything she needs to know. Then she starts checking the bank account history and you're busted. Doesn't take much to put the picture together.

As to how the end game will play out for me, smash the hobby phone to smithereens, toss it in a dumpster far from home, delete the hobby email accounts, and remove myself from TER. There is absolutely nothing on the computer. I run a scrubber script periodically that searches out references to hobby names/emails, flags them, and I delete any files found (a few cache files typically). Other than pulling myself off TER, the rest would take less than a half hour.

1. Hobby phone should be hidden is a place she would never find or access. And if she found it, and you were dead, and she couldnt access any numbers or texts...then how is that "everything she needs to know"??? You lost me.
2. Bank account history? WTF? Paper trails?
3. Delete hobby email accounts? There is nothing to delete. Its password protected and its history removed every time I use it.
4.TER? How would she know you were on/member of TER?

You should act as if EVERYDAY is your end game.

I like that quote!

You should act as if EVERYDAY is your end game.

I slide the bank card into the ATM and the screen says:  You're screwed mrfisher.

But seriously,

I know the day will come, whether from physical or fiscal infirmity, and I'll simply take up collecting butterflies or something similar instead of what I do now.

At that point, I'll send out emails or make phone calls to the gals I see and tell them the bad news.

All good things.....

My computer is set to delete on shut down...  but we all know that leaves things recoverable.  I run CCCleaner to overwrite to Mil Specs often.
My hobby phone, I delete the call history before I leave her & shut it off.
My hobby email is not linked to my other email accts & has a different secure password.
I take the same cash from each check as spending money, save up to play.  Never W/D for hobby & certainly not that could be linked to times 'off the grid'.
I never use CC anyplace I should not be.
I gas the car on the day before a meeting...  and purchases out of my area would be cash.

The best way to erase tracks is not to make them in the first place.

First, there are never any tracks left in my case. If I died right now there is nothing online, on any computer I use, or on my phone that could point to this. To answer the other part of this, if I found a caring woman to be in a relationship with me and take care of my physically then I would stop this in a heart beat. This isn't a "hobby" for me at all. It is meeting a need that doesn't otherwise get met.
