But, something else to think about is:  How secure is your data with an independent provider?

 
If you're going to P4P, you just have to decide how much personal information you are willing to share to play.  You can see some providers while sharing very little personal information with them (P411).  Others require considerably more (DL, LinkedIn, etc.).  What's your personal risk tolerance.

As an independent provider who does not pay an assistant…

I believe your information is safer with me because I will never share anything about you without your permission.  

Less people involved the better the experience.

I would be a bit concerned about that bit about taking no responsibility for protecting the information you might provide. If I were to ever attempt to use their services that is something I would ask about -- and suggest for any that would face large consequences if disclosed try working with them to avoid giving PII.  That said, to some extent it sounds a bit like what a lawyer would have them put in. But if they are not going to take any responsibility they have no incentives to protect it so why do business with them?

 
More generally, in the whole agency-indie discussion, I would say agencies are a better approach as any information you disclose is handed out to fewer people. Screen with an agency once, see any of the girls. See any indie girl and you are screening with the escort so any information handed out goes to many more people. Just off the numbers you're taking a higher risk with indies than agencies. Agencies might be a bigger target for LE, because they hope to hang the trafficking charge on the agency but in that case LE is much less interested in the customers than in the agency. In both cases you need to assess the quality of the service provider, be it an agency or indie, to minimize your risk but that effort is probably similar regardless which route you take -- but again, only once for the agency versus once for each indie.

Everything comes with risk so its all coming down to the risk vs reward ratio.  

I personally like to lower my risk, so i use a burner phone and at times, a fake ID. Theres been too many stories over the past decade of hobbyists being threatened with doxxing. Staying low key is very important these days.
