Interesting article describing women's participation in the sex industry. I recall seeing a French movie last year about women travelling to Haiti to buy sex.

There do appear to be some differences when women pay for sex. WOmen seem to be  more interested in companionship also--no surprise there. But some guys also like companionship too. So maybe the difference is not as great as we think. GIven the opportunity and an anonymous setting, at least some women will glady pay for sex.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. That men will pay for sex with 90% of women, whereas women will only pay for sex with 1% of men? I'm also not sure how this relates to getting a job??

I think what the article reveals is that women will pay for sex, but because of societal taboos they feel more comfortable doing it in a place where they are anonymous.  Moreover, its more of a sugar mommy relationship than a straight cash for sex transaction.

The majority of women give it away and the unlucky bastard that sticks around has to hear about it the rest of his life. Women pay just like men, but not necessarily for cash and cheap week-to-week motels. You get it, he doesn't.
