I have a favorite body type (petite) and the looks will entice me to think about a visit.  But if the reviews are not there (or are consistently mediocre) I would take a pass.

Performance tops looks hands down.

More often than not I see (10's) on TER who are the complete package in looks and performance.

10's performing like dead fish...not the norm.  A lady who's a 10 knows men want the complete package.

Yes, there is a certain minimum level of looks that is required.

I had an encounter with a provider whose only picture that was published was from the side with the head turned so that you couldn't see the face.  When I got to the hotel room it became apparent why.  She had a smokin' body, but a butta face.  It was tough to get into it even though she was a good performer.  I tried closing my eyes or looking away, but it didn't work.

For what I'm paying I expect both.  Fortunately, if you do you homework, it's  not hard to get it.
