Some of my mongering experiences have made me wonder if a session can actually benefit from the need to rely on non-verbal communication due to either language barriers or disabilities. One would think that such barriers to communication would make a session awkward, but I have found the opposite to be true. The basis of my reasoning is the notion that so much human communication is non-verbal, and that what people say with their words is less important or powerful than what they say and do with their bodies. I had the most powerful GFE experience in my mongering history with a deaf hooker in a Spanish-speaking country. She was a 7 or 8 in her appearance and physical performance but an 11 or 12 in her GFE. We had to rely on a lot of gestures and other body language in order to overcome the combination of her deafness and the language barrier, as she spoke no English and had to lip read my limited Spanish. I wonder if this style of communication created a stronger emotional bond. For example, her need to lip read forced us to maintain almost constant eye contact. I also found that my other best experiences in this Spanish-speaking country were with hookers who spoke little or no English (conversely, my least impressive experiences were with hookers who spoke the most English). I communicated with them mostly in my limited Spanish, which I supplemented with non-verbal communication when necessary.  

I have also been trying to broaden my hobby horizons in sessions with U.S.-based Asian providers. What impressed me most about my first sessions with such providers, who spoke only broken English, was the degree to which they succeeded in transcending the language barrier with a combination of playful gestures and touches and just a few key terms in English to guide me through the scripted sessions like erotic hostesses. Subsequent sessions with similar providers who spoke more English were less impressive to me in that regard.

Is it just me? I have a preference for foreign providers (and a deep interest in foreign cultures in general outside of the hobby), and excessively talkative providers often turn me off. Or has anyone else (providers or clients) with different preferences also had similar experiences?

I am so used to not understanding the language of the people around me and dating or whoring around with women who don't speak English, it's second nature to me and yes sometimes it adds to instead of detracting from the session.

I do prefer that the women I bed speak at least a little bit of a language we have in common, it is tough with a woman who doesn't speak even a word of any language I speak, but even then you can still make it work.

It's not just you, but you (and I) seem to be the exception where it comes to American mongers as most Americans seem to be a bit provincial and don't really believe in the old "when in Rome" philosophy, which is fine with me as it leaves "more for me" lol I think it's also the reason I get so much OTC time with Asian providers. I can't even speak Chinese, much less Korean, Thai or Vietnamese, but my willingness to try and my refusal to let our lack of a common language get in our way has led to a lot of relationships with Asian ladies well over and above our paid encounters.

It is a bit ironic, as my Spanish improves, I find myself pretending to speak less Spanish than I actually do.

I really couldn't understand a damn word she said. Broken English didn't do it justice. She was incredible. She kinda had this thing she went thru before you could fk her.

As usual, GaG, you may have hit the nail on the head. Perhaps it is the shared effort to transcend the language and cultural barriers - rather than, or in addition to, the specifics of the communication style - that creates a more powerful bonding experience for both parties.

So do you prefer foreign (e.g. Asian and Latin) hookers for physical reasons, cultural reasons, or a combination of both? It was the physical aspect that originally attracted me to Latinas, but the more time that I spent with them, the more important and appealing the cultural aspect became to me - to the point that I started learning Spanish. Ironically, however, the better my Spanish has gotten - to the point that I can now have a whole session in Spanish - the cultural appeal has diminished. Perhaps my now-improved verbal communication with Latina hookers in Spanish has started to undermine the non-verbal magic to which I alluded in my original post.

My now-budding interest in Asian hookers started the other way around. The cultural aspect of the Asian hooker style was what made me want to try it out. I am a tits & ass kind of guy (think of any tall, tits & ass-intensive Colombians that you may have seen), so it has historically been harder for me to find Asian hookers that appeal to me physically. With that said, now that I have experienced more Asian women, I have a heightened appreciation for smaller and less voluptuous women

but yes, I think we are on the exact same page. As for my taste in women, it's a combination of many, many factors, partly physical characteristics and partly cultural.  

Isn't it great how many different types of women we can be attracted to. I am equally attracted to the "paisa" type as I am the Asian spinner type, or the Swedish Bikini Team type. Some days you feel like a nut, some days......
