Here an article entitled "Why Women like Married Me."  (See Link) I, like many married guys here, see ladies here since what we have at home isn't measuring up to what else is out there. It would be interesting to hear "why" from a woman's prespective.

What are your thoughts, comments, opinions, etc.?

For me, the fact that you are married does not make a difference.
If I ever ask a date if he is married the response is always the same..."Yes, Is that okay?"
I only ask so I can know a little about HIM. I think a married guy might be more dependable...a little safer....most likely will go home on time. I don't have to worry too much about married guys falling in love with me...they are attached, already. This is not to say that a few married men haven't fallen for me..they have. But I prefer that they stick with their SO's.

Outside of this hobby, I would NOT be interested in dating a married man. But in the hobby, I find that they are purrfect company.
So whether you are married or single gentlemen...Gentlemanly is more the concern. Your marital status is not.

women are attracted to married men because of the commitment factor. Civvie ladies see that he is able to be committed to a long term relationship (good or bad).

As a provider, I would prefer not to know a gentleman's martial status. That's just me, even though I have found myself asking him. That's because it's good small talk during our meeting, not because it's a turn-on. I wouldn't see a married man outside of the hobby. PERIOD.

The same is true for hiring.

As a businessman, if a candidate walks in the door and is already employed, the juices start to flow.  After all, if he's already employed, then he must be OK, and besides, if I woo him away from his present employer, then it's like a victory over them.

But if a guy without a job walks in, I'm more likely to feel like:  "Big deal".
