What is the protocol for mentsruation?

Ok, so I was with a very highly reviewed (all 9s and 10s), mid-price range, GFE provider (first time with) and as we switched from Mish to Doggie I noticed it looked like I had dipped Mr. Happy into a bottle of ketchup.  Now I know some guys are in to that, but I'm not, and it sort of killed the mood, if you know what I mean.  Made worse by the fact that I had DATY... didn't know I was getting it with the special sauce.

I mean she was a super lady, very sweet and we had a great time, other than that, and I will definitely see her again.

However, there was a thread below about making sure I take a razor to the old Johnson as part of being considerate... wouldn't it be considerate for a provider to tell a client up front?

Is it appropriate to ask a provider up front so I can reschedule?  

I know I'm paying for "time and companionship", but sometimes the reason I'm paying for "time and companionship" is that the SO is also getting a visit from Aunt Flo.  Meaning I'm not really interested in dealing with two women with the same problem.

Thoughts?

Others use a cup called Plan B which effectively catches the menstral blood.

Sometimes Aunt Flo makes an unexpected appearance however.

As far as discussing it upfront, sure, but if her period comes early, what's a gal to do?

If it does freak you out, then I hope she is willing to do something to make it up to you.

most woman I know in this biz take the few days off as a timeout. Besides, I don't know anyone who feels well enough to play during this time. Personally I'll pass, but as Mr Fisher has said sometimes it just has a mind of its own and runs off schedule. I am sure it was a surprise to her as well.

I actually enjoy sex during my monthly.  A good orgasm makes the cramps go away, ladies!  It relaxes all those muscles down there and I feel so much better afterwards.   But, I always let the gentlemen know when we plan a date.  Some guys like it and some don't and will reschedule which is fine.

I've heard of some providers using a special menstruation sponge as well, which provides lubrication and collects blood unobtrusively. The client would, most likely, not notice.

Personally, I stay on birth control continuously which causes me not to menstruate. On the few occasions where I've "spotted" I simply don't see clients -- why explain your personal bodily functions they just don't need to (or want to) know about?

did she say anything about it? that's my first question. if her period came on unexpectedly (which happens to some of us from time to time, and actually sexual activity/penetration can trigger the start of menstrual flow a few days early), then i would imagine she would have been a bit embarassed when she noticed and would have made some sort of apologies to you. if this did not happen, then my guess would be that she knew perfectly well she was on her cycle and just didn't see it as an issue worth mentioning, which speaks poorly of her character imo.

personally i see no clients for 7 days each month, whether my period lasts that long or not. i just don't like to take any chances.

sometimes you dont know when it may actually happened I mean before I had my hysterectomy thank god!!!! my periods where so heavy I was afraid to stand from sitting too long nothing would prevent that flow I did not leave the house!!! I could not use the pill it made me so sick. I had the IUD so it would come at the most inconvenient times I gave the client a choice cancel and reschedule ahead of time or if he wanted french lessons only. Even if he was in to it I was so embarrased it happened once with a client and I. but he did not know and I cleaned him up fast before he found out. I must of just happened at the end. I was always conscience about it and I think most girls are. Sometimes changing the pill, mood swings, stress and new females under the same roof changes your period. If you were a woman for 30 days you would understand!!!  Go easy on her and may try a second date she may agree for a discount for the inconvenience.

Because it might have been something she could not control, why should she make it up to you? Does a client ever make it up to a lady if they have trouble finishing and make her sore? Shit happens and you roll with it. Good Lord if everytime something that made the session not the picture of perfection and we ladies had to "make it up" all the time, we'd either go out of business or jack up the fees to cover the shortfalls. I guess my clients are less persnickety.

Most definitely the provider should tell you ahead of time and allow you to reschedule if you want.  I hate when I hear about providers not saying anything and then act all surprised when its obvious.

Any time, and I mean any and every time I "start" and have something pre-scheduled, I send an email or I call and let them know "eve, the evil apple tempting tramp" has showed up...you wanna resched or go for it?"  Most of the time they reschedule and that doesnt bother me a bit.  

It is the hobbyist choice to reschedule, not the providers to decide.

I have one client who 4 or of 5 visits I started right in the middle of it..something about our timing, I dont know...but at least we can laugh about it if it happens.

Same thing happened to me. A hot girl just get into having a good time and I pull out my fingers and bingo. Total mood killer.
Actually its just my luck. $400 to be grossed out. I could watch fear factor for the same feeling and thats free.

The truth is some girls won't work during if they know it is there and isn't a surprise visitor and some do in hopes it will go unnoticed with the thinking if it does she acts really surprised and you will forgive it.
 We all know it is going to happen at some point the girls going to be a girl and have her menses. I have gotten mine early the morning of a scheduled date called and told the person asking them would they like to reschedule in this case the person said no. I would imagine some would have said yes please .I arrived and upon recieving "the envelope please" refunded a portion of his money immediately as it turned out in this case I "spotted" in the morning and had no sign of any further  evidence of being early at all during the 24 hr appt which surprised the heck out of me. I was glad. I had made the ridiculous math equation that I refunded approx 1/3 of the cost after deducting my hotel bill .Lmao thinking well normally we have 3 areas of umm how you say lol entry  and only two were going to be accessable durning our visit .We did visit all the rides in disney on that trip:) and greece:)  In the end he then said t was the best time he had ever had and gave me back the money before we parted. Too kind really .
There are absolutely positively girls who I know personally and will not name that do and will work while having their menses.In fact do every month look at the scedules and you'll find them if they are availale every week of every month they either do not get a period hum that would be odd no? or work during it. Deny till you die is the feeling I get from them . I prefer not to and so unless someone says yay I say nay. Kendall
