Funny how people often assume that only guys who "have" to pay for intimacy will. We all know (or should, some guys just don't know and are hard on themselves) the hobby is much more multi-faceted.
Funny, I've gotten emails that start out, "I'm no Richard Gere, but.." and I almost anticipate reading next "Clooney is my name, and hobbying is my game". hmm, maybe I will send my site on to both of them, and we can change the world together. or at least make the earth move for a while
Richard Gere is a big activist for Aids/HIV, among other things.so this little info isnt surprising at all...I dont really think he was promoting prostituion..but promoting safe sex. Plus its not like he was giving out awards for best blow job...so I say good for him to be going to places and try using his star power to do good...he should join me in my bedroom and try to do some good in there. 
Oprah and reporter Lisa Ling had also gone to Africa to teach about safe sex...and from previous shows..Oprah definitely does NOT agree with prostitution. Tsk Tsk
