"Principals before personalities" sometimes I believe that moderators bring in their personalities into the mix ie: "who is this guy" " he posts better thoughts and suggestions better then me" "He's a newbie" Theres something somewhere stating that anything posted in reviews is all BS and ter is not held responsible for any content. Lets not have hate, racial profiling but other than those and a few more examples, dont not post my reviews because I stated in review that so and so does bareback, and please stop e-mailing me if you are a moderator after I post something seeing if I am real and you lecture about safe sex. I find the posts and reviews very entertaining but I always keep in the back of my mind that anything I read on here is just that, entertainment. Maybe the phase I'm looking for is "anal retentive" Pull the butt plugs out guys, loosen up, its all just in good fun.

This site is perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. I especially love how the P&R board, the only place that's supposed to have totally free expression is still totally moderated. I also love that there are no real moderators on this board. I love Admin, especially the way they totally understand the English language in all its nuances. Admin also has a great sense of humor. I love the review system and its unchanging rules that make so much sense.

I like getting to bloviate on here, plus I like the people, and I like that I learn a lot too.
I like how I've found some truly wonderful providers, and a few client friends as well.
So, what I hate the most is that the navigation is sometimes very slow, and there are sometimes outright freeze-ups.
And this has been on the New TER as well as the Classic, and regardless of which browser I use.
It's been getting worse lately too.
My favorite is the little spats that hobbyist get into with each other about such trivial sh!t. We end up with these threads that taper down to less than a quarter inch wide with replies that are the mind numbing equivalent of two nerds debating whether LOTR is better than Star Wars (which it clearly is). That guys get this caught up in their TER persona would be absolutely hilarious if it wasn't so sad.
My second favorite is guys who live vicariously on this site PMing and emailing about the minutia of dates. I wrote pretty much what I wanted to say in the review, and I'm happy to discuss logistics and other non sexual things that might be helpful, but, "was she good?"...really, I gave her a pair of tens and wrote 10,000 words about how impressed I was. Do you really NEED to know if I stuck my thumb up her ass (never) or whether she wore Agent Provocateur lingerie (couldn't tell the difference between that and Target) or how many times she came or even worse how many time I came (seriously?) or any number of other vacuous questions that could be answered by just spending a few bucks.

Sometimes I wonder about guys who think that Star Wars is better then either Star Trek or LOTR (the trilogy). But I just saw Star Trek and was really pissed that it was a poor man's rehash of ST2-The Wrath of Khan....fucking pathetic.

I haven't had the experiences many have described as my use of the site is limited. I (obviously) enjoy the discussion forums and find it a great place to get information of all sorts. Entertainment abounds.
What I don't like actually has nothing to do with TER per se, but everything to do with the way this site is manipulated/interpreted by a few, and the resultant effects....
In my market I feel that TER has pushed the proverbial pendulum WAY too far to the 'extreme' end of things...making dangerous/unsafe practices commonplace as greed overtakes prudence.
I've been in this business since 2008...I personally find it harder and harder to make money without, as others put it, 'gaming' the system somehow. That can be very frustrating for somebody who doesn't want to do unsafe things, ask clients to review, complain about clients' reviews, kiss/discount reviewer ass, etc.

My comments against a 76-yo man who claims every date he sees (and every review gets approved) sticks her tongue where he shits, gets moderate
As a hobbyist who enjoys kink/BDSM activity as well as vanilla, I find the way TER handles the kink stuff to be very sub-par. A 10/10 kink provider usually can't legitimately be given a 10, since Greek is not generally on the menu for any domme provider (and sometimes not even DFK)..
Additionally, there's the problem of figuring out which young ladies are GFEs with lots of toys, which are really dominatrixes, and (the perfecta) which are dominatrixes who actually provide FS.
We need a better system for this stuff, or maybe a sister site entirely, with redefined ratings scales.
Also: I miss the Erotic Highway board with Love Goddess at the helm. Any way to find a new one?
