Wasn't as adventurous as I thought it would be

Maybe it would be better with someone closer to my age group..  Any thoughts?  May have to give hobbying up here.

I'm 48 and started a year ago.

10 years ago during an Army trip to Nicaragua and Honduras....After a 10 year break I'm back in the game at 46.

I started at 49, a year ago.  Enjoyed every minute so far.

It was quite awhile ago looking back on it but one of the best sessions one could hope for (even though I did not realize it then of course). Found her by an internet ad and had just found TER too although she was not based in the USA so no help there. Our 1 hour session lasted for many hours into the night, chatting, sex, some wine, more sex...she was beautiful, smart and soon afterwards, dropped off the radar screen.  Of particular fun was that she was half French, half middle eastern (not sure exactly where) and physically was the best of both worlds. She even did a belly dance for me!!! I look back at her not so differently than my first high school sweetheart!
My age at the time corresponded to a tough time with the wife when kids and other concerns just wiped out her sexual drive.  Even though her drive came back, I continue to dabble a few times per year since and it has been 15 years now. How time flies!

Like Xenopus, my wife's sex drive had disappeared.  Had been that way for 5-6 years before I finally took the plunge 2 years ago on a business trip in NorCal.

Over 10 years later, so much has changed about the hobby.  Some good, some bad.  Definitely have met some wonderful ladies, and seen many great ladies leave the business.  Wish there was a where are they now.

I was 41 when I started. I'm still relatively new to it. My preference in the hobby is younger women. I"ve had good luck so far.

43 when I discovered TER and the hobby as it exists currently.  That was five years ago, and it's been a great ride!  

Your idea about seeing ladies older than 22 and closer to your age will likely yield better results than what you have alluded to.  The hobby is as adventurous as you make it, and can afford.
