...I am curious, which draws you in more? when you see an ad, or a website, what reels you in and makes you think "man, this girl has got it! and she MUST be legit"?

Is there a preference? are both suitable?; is either sufficient?; as long as they are decent and adequate enough to be an assumed fair representation? Or do you like the hyped up artistic ones because they feed into the fantasy of a classy, upscale lady? Or... do you just want some nice shots that let you know how she looks-- as long as she has the reputation to back up a good time?

I think I may have asked this before, at least in one form or another-- but humor me, and tell me again, if you dont mind!

Thanks guys...

Dani

First of all you need to remember the difference between photos on an escort web site and say Playboy magazine.  The Playboy photos are of beautiful women that you will never have a chance to meet, let alone got to bed with.  Escort photos are of beautiful women that you do have a chance with.  That is a not so subtle difference.

Remember, all men have different tastes.  You need the “girl next door” shots, and ones that show your figure, derriere, and bosoms.  Don’t worry so much about what your “assists” look like, as our tastes differ.  There are big boob men, small boob men, droopy boob men, etc.

The most difficult point is that you need a theme for your site, and the photos should enhance that theme.  If you are the girl next door, the hustler shot just doesn’t fit in.  If you are the elegant floozy, then by all means, have the stockings and garter belt picture.

Here is the hardest part – find someone who can capture you personality in the pictures.  I know it may be hard to believe, but personality will win out over looks for most men.

'The Playboy photos are of beautiful women that you will never have a chance to meet, let alone go to bed with.' is absolutley false when taken in the context of the hobby.  Playboy models, Penthouse Pets, Runway Fashion Models, Actresses, etc. can all be found within the provider community.  There are several agencies that cater to clients who look for these women and several of these women work independently as well.

They are also airpbrushed to the point they look fake.  Even in person, there is body make-up. No doubt, they are beautiful and photograph well, but they're not perfect or unobtainable.

...(back in the 80's, when they were generally better looking than today's Playmates) and the girls are TOTALLY transformed (hair, makeup, airbrushing) in the pages.  Not only could you get to bed with one, but you could (and still can) find better in the escort business!  Granted, you do have to do some searching!  Also, like you said many of these models are available in this biz.  By and large the Chief's reply was a joke.

No f'ing GlamourShots or other such airbrushed nonsense. Pros should depict the real you and not erase tats and other such things. Some body art is perfectly fine, but if the name of your "X" is prominently pasted on your breasts or your ass, it's bad form. If you are over the guy, then have the common sense to get him re-formed in another image. Some tat artists are great at re-arranging history.

Don't use any type of airbrushing. Besides being easily noticed it doesn't give a potential client the real idea of what your appearance is. The best thing to do is use real pictures of yourself. If you want repeat clients, then honesty is the best policy. From a client's perspective their is nothing worse then expecting a provider to look like her pictures and then being disappointed when she opens the door because you realize her pictures were doctored.

Yes, we agree. The point is to show the body as it is, not as a photo doctor would make it. I respect privacy and some tats would make you very identifiable, but in my book, why do to this yourself in the first place?

In my case, I was a 19 year old kid not thinking about anything past that very day.  There are many, many, many things we have done under the age of 22 that as 30, 40 or 50 year olds we would never entertain.  Some are permanent and some are not.  It no longer "goes with" my personality and I would advise anyone under 25 to wait it out.  But, it is what it is, a reminder of my youth.

Tattoos are edited out for discretionary reasons.  I do think a woman should, on her website, mention her tattoo(s) and perhaps explain the location and whether or not it/they can be concealed.

Under promise and over deliver is a proven marketing technique for generating repeat clientele and referrals.... That's my 2¢

I get drawn in with fully nude pics of any kind rather than glamour shots.  But there are ladies here who post both galleries on their websites.  The problem with glamour shots is that you probably won't look that dolled up for a session.  I like your pics though.  IMHO, more is better.  And when it comes to clothing, less is more.

Nothing says legit quite as much as the link to "See my TER Reviews".

A link to TER reviews, while comforting, doesn't get you out of homework.
I don't know anything about this lady, but I have often wondered WHY she would include the link to her TER reviews in her ad...

All guys looking to score do not do so from TER.  If a guy (that didn't know about TER) found her web site and wanted to see what her service was like, he could click on the link to the reviews.  This is actually how I discovered TER over 4 years ago.

you still gotta read the reviews.

Most Cityvibe ads have links to corresponding TER reviews.  I'm not sure why.  There are many terrible women with piss poor reviews who proudly say "see my reviews".  Maybe CityVibe does it for them?

A good photographer can show you off without retouching the shots.  Personally, I don't have any objection to minor touching up, removing pimples, scabs, or other temporary blemishes. but at the end of the day I would prefer to see a nonretouched pic shot by a pro or good hobbyist (umm, the photographic hobby)...

I prefer the more natural photos.  Most hobbyists probably want a "fair representation of the lady".  If anything, the photos should undersell the lady.  How many times to reviews state, "She was much prettier than her pics."

I think it depends on the sort of clientele you are looking for. If you are planning on being a high-dollar, high-profile provider, professional-looking shots are the better way to go. However, I'd strongly recommend against photoshopping or airbrushing any flaws from the photos (other than blurring your face).

If you are looking to be more exclusive with fewer first-time clients or if you are going for the local-girl-making-extra-monwy angle, then private photos are fine. In one case, I was actually attracted to a provider's private photos because I knew she was a newbie at this and if her site had been an obvious studio job I would have presumed she'd been lying about her newbie status or the photos were of somebody else. Her photos actually sold me that she really was new (and very pretty).

Keep in mind too that the vast majority of the scammer ads are professional photos (often not of the girl who shows up at the door), so photos that aren't studio jobs also give an "honest" look to them which might attract some clients wary of scammers.

So, I think what you really need to ask is who do you want to attract (everyday Joes, only CEOs, something in between) and then tailor your image to match what you want.

But, I did review a number of pics in the intorduction section.

They all lack what my biggest complaint is about photo gallaries on the ladies.

THE SMILE. Why is that so predominate in this industry. It looks like pictures of a lady not happy in what she does. That is just my take on it and am in no doubt the minority.

But a nice smile, being it sexy smile, alluring smile, belly laughing smile or what ever, they get me everytime. Sure, they have to have a body to go with it, but THE SMILE will get ME everytime.
