I've never had kids so I have no idea how that would affect my libido. Stress does affect it adversely (at least in the short term). But personally, when I haven't desired my partner sexually, it usually means there's something seriously amiss, either in my life or in my relationship...either I was seriously overworked or upset, or....I fell out of love with my partner.
For me: cleanliness, a little attention, and a solid partnership == my man is happy. At least, that's how I've acted historically.
