The over the top provider name- "Tiffany Champagne," Goddess Maria, "and the worst of all "Sexy Single Mommy." Please convey quality by performance -not such silly puffery. 3. Constant dirty talk. "Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me." Is this one in the provider handbook? What is it it anyway? "Description?" Direction" "Encouragement"?" What I get for that extra $200 for a PSE? Please tone it down. 4. The "I'm classy post." And the other girls are not? Class is something others see in you; not how you describe yourself. Besides, a lady who trolls the internet for clients has about as much "class" as the guys who select her. We have something but I don't think it's class. 5. The boob job. Unfair-like playing tennis with the net down. 6. "My rates are non-negotiable." This one is the third rail of the escort world. Only a guy courageous enough to face down the entire escort community would take this one on. Since I'm not that guy, I will stay silent here.Whew-that's enough for today, or at least enough to get me properly skewered by the responses.

I learned a lot from what I seen others do. I am still learning. And sadly, the place I picked up a lot habits was backpage. I didn't realize the wealth of information that is on these boards. Now that I am know I am trying to learn all the good habits and practices so I can be the best provider that I can be.
If you could read my site, you will see I say many of the same things, except for the "classy" part. I do use "Upscale, low volume, and well reviewed," because my service is all of those things, but I would never go as far as to say that I am "classy" lol. you should not generalize everyone on the bp as lowlifes, etc. there are lots of ladies here on ter who use bp to advertise (me being one of them) and don't offer 60 specials, etc.

My post was aimed at exactly who was mentioned, again notice the abscense of this phrase "all girls on backpage" I understand its another outlet for advertising ya can't exactly buy an ad in the yellow pages. But if you have a functioning brain you will notice a lot of cheap, unclassy gals and bargain basement prices. The majority of BP girls would not be able to perform as high end providers. And from some I've spoke with its also a mentality thing they just don't have the smarts for it. Again you were not named in any of this, if you're ad was well written and you're pics struck my interst Id probally give ya a call. Though if your this easy to offend I'd probally piss ya off as you're sense of humor must be in the shop this week. Ya gotta admit though there is a lot of not so good stuff on BP. Now if you're still offended go read it again, notice it still does not say "all girls on backpage"

As silly as it sounds to put that in an ad or website, it unfortunately HAS to be stated because you always have one or 2 gentlemen who think they can pay what THEY want...sorry, it just doesn't work that way. Your's is one of the most sensible responses to the issue of negotiating that I have heard here in quite some time. FWIW I am too lazy to negotiate, except when I am in Latin America. The only reason I sometimes negotiate when south of the border is that some chicas mistake kindness for weakness and if you pay them their asking rate they will assume you are just another stupid gringo and rather than give you better service, they instead will give you the bums rush because they have no respect for you.
That said, I will admit that even after negotiating a lower rate, I usually end up giving them their full asking rate, but at that point they know I am being generous and not just stupid.

you have stated in your line of work, you don't negotiate, or am I wrong. If so, I'm sure you will tell me. But no, not EVERYTHING in this world IS negotiable...not in my book sir.

I can only speak for MY work...as many others don't approach their business as I do. But at this stage of my life I do more pro bono work than chargeable work. Those that I charge can certainly "haggle" with me..no problem. And if I see a reason to reduce a fee I will. I don't post anywhere that I won't negotiate...as everything in life that is for sale...it is negotiable.
So my negotiation standpoint has little to do with money anymore. I have spent endless hours helping out gals here with a plethora of issues...most of it pro bono. And in most cases...I may have not even met them in person. Those that have used my skills know this to be quite true.
I don't solicit business...almost everything comes from referrals. I ceased the "mirror" test method of client acceptance years ago. I have no plans on using it ever again either.
We can certainly agree to disagree....as we do on this topic. But anytime you want to buy something, let me know and I'll be happy to share how to get the best value for it. Haggling is just a "not so nice" way of saying "Let's negotiate"....which is the only way many many in the world operate. And this little corner of nirvana is a part of it.

I already stay either at the same rate or a little bit under what's available in my area & I also am a little generous when it comes to time so, asking me to do what I do for 1/3 of my rates is pretty rude. That's when I put them on ignore.
Especially if I saw their last review was of of a $500 gal.
Try to stay humble in my ads and not make promises & expectations that I can't keep .

I don't have any of the above written on my site, including 'No Negotiation'. The guilty people just think it's not meant for them anyway, and the really awful ones ("$400/hr? Grk? Avail?") won't even go on my site in the first place.
First-time clients who want a discount on ANY rate...it always comes across as - 'I'm not about to pay XXX for that, you stupid ho.' I don't care how nicely they word the email, that's basically what it says. When I was newly independent, I did do a few discounted overnights for first-time clients, and DAMN did I live to regret it. None of them were good experiences for me. The guys were assholes (surprise!).
There will always be a contingent of clients who feel that negotiation is the name of the game, and that is just the nature of the beast. I'm not overly enthusiastic about that, but I deal with it as I see fit. With that said, if I get a hint of the 'I'm not paying xxx for a dinner date because that's stupid', or 'I shouldn't have to pay for her time because this isn't a real business' (it's how I pay my bills) or even 'this bitch has nothing better to do, she should take my discount rather than sit home watching General Hospital'...the answer is NO. Negotiation is only OK with me if it truly involves finding middle ground. NOT because the guy thinks he's entitled to something. Those are usually the ones who are the most miserable to spend time with, anyway. But I do have a minimum. Most asshole negotiators, negotiate far below the minimum that I'm willing to accept. Middle-ground seekers want to make sure I am fairly compensated (and happy).
I recently raised my stated overnight rate by $500. The former price on my site was exactly what I wanted for an overnight...but two clients thought that, since I 'had nothing else to do that night' and it was more money that I'd make otherwise, they could get a discount (refused, because my rate was VERY reasonable and they were just being dicks...I also didn't exactly relish the though of more QT with them). This way, if someone pays the stated rate, great! If I really like them, I can offer less to make them feel special. And if for some reason I want to accept negotiations with a client I'm not so fond of, then I have the option of negotiating to a rate that I still consider fair compensation for that time spent (suffered).
I'd love to NEVER offer discounts, and MOST discount offers are complete BS...yes. They absolutely are. But it's a business and people are going to negotiate. So I deal with it.

That would be a contradiction. Saying you are low volume when you are logged on with date and time stamps 8 hours a day, pretty much CONFIRMS you're not working all that much lol. I know who you are referring to, and yes it's comical. I would imagine not by choice in that case. I've got some neat tricks, but I can't post and fk at the same time yet.

First of all, just because a lady POSTS everyday, does not equate into APPOINTMENTS she takes...
I post on another site everyday and here... and I am pretty low volume imho....
I do get calls on average, everyday.... but do I take every one? no...
Plus I may not get a appt for 2 days, then make up for it in one day...
I USED to be high volume, when I was new... but I dont WANT that kind of traffic, and headache
IMO, it's one of the most annoying things that providers say. Providers, having that line on your website makes it seem as if you expect tips. Who wouldn't appreciate a tip?
