taught myself html, dhtml, xml, css, php, etc. and code by hand in notepad++ or sometimes dreamweaver just for it's ability to auto-complete tags which speeds things up a bit.

that said, I know folks that use the website tonight stuff you can get on godaddy or other with hosting packages.

For Miss Natasha Lynne,
to get around a flash gallery, have you considered a javascript library such a jquery or mootools?
even a php gallery is pretty easy with imagemagick or zend.

I currently have a website that is flash...problem is imac/iphone users and even some android phones can't view my website!
I need an easy(drag and drop)with minimal HTML coding needed(I know the basics)website creator that is non-flash. I get completly lost in dreamweaver and sandbox. any suggestions?

My photos page is Flash - and I'm not sure how to work around that - but the other pages are not, and the program is pretty easy to use.  I created, uploaded and update my site 100% on my own, and I've never taken a related class.  I am, however, generally fairly computer savvy....

I started a thread a few weeks ago about requesting iPad friendly (non-flash) sites, so thank you for being kind.  By the way, all Macs can see flash sites...only iPhones and iPads can't do flash. The sooner the web gets away from flash, the better we'll all be!
