It is bad enough to have to listen to the rantings from the candidates. The vast majority of VOTING CITIZENS have already pretty much made their minds up. Then there is the minority who have yet to decide. So, the candidates will spend hundreds of millions of dollars for a small percentage of votes. Just to serve in the most stressful, underpaid job in the world.
It is all about POWER.
NO matter who wins, only a small percentage of their 'programs' will ever get out of committee. Lucky for us (sometimes) that these programs never see the light of day.
In conclusion, YOU will NEVER change another person's opinion about politics or religion.

I don't know. I was a republican till the former GOP chairman Lee Atwater admitted that the GOP actively used racism to stur up blue collar white voters. I took a hard left.
FWIW...my vote will be based who provides me with the prospect of having a safer & strong America. We live in very difficult times & that leadership trait is paramount.
Iraq was NOT run by radical Moslems. Saddam was a SECULAR (non-religious) thug, and had them repressed. When we overthrew him, we CREATED a situation where there was now another disorganized country with a moslem population, that was NOW, after Saddam was gone, able to become a training ground and recruiting ground for Moslem Terrorist groups for the first time.
At the same time, our invasion of Iraq basically resulted in Bin Laden's anti-US propaganda becoming actual fact, and gave him a powerful new recruiting tool, that has allowed Al Qaida to be MORE effective at signing up new suicide bombers than they were before we invaded Iraq.
Of course, Radical Moslems ALWAYS wanted us dead. Only BECAUSE we invaded Iraq, there are now MORE Moslems who have become Radicals willing to kill themselves in harming us, and they have a new country without coherent leadership in which they have established a foothold in where they can train their fanatics in the skills of killing.
