That has to have been the biggest change.

But seriously, I'm not sure that the last five years has seen any real seismic changes in the hobby.

Craigs List is gone, but Back Page has picked up the slack.

TER has new management and a new layout, but the philosphy and practice are still the same.

More people participate from the looks of the number of people reading TER at any given time.

All and all, life is good.  If you were still around it would be better.  You were quite the delight.

Many of you may not remember me . . . it's been five years since I traded hotel rooms for board rooms.  I have peeked at the boards now and again, but not often.  As I take a longer look, everything seems so familiar  . . .

Over the past five years, what have been the biggest changes in the hobby?  What have I missed?

Lots of changes. LE has been stepping it up a few notches in the last few years.
"Some" providers are tightening their screening process and some hobbyists are not so free with their personal information.

Economics have strained the activity for some of us, but we somehow still manage

Aside from that, I think my dick shrunk about one inch and it doesn't get as hard as it used to. Other then that, same old, same old.

I don't agree with that, I have seen many of the providers disappear from TER over the past few years and they are still around on other boards.  Since LE has stepped up there game, many providers have stepped up with screening + don't like explicit reviews.  Thats what just happened to THE HOBBIEST PROFESSOR, that was nabbed by the Fed's for running southwest companions. I left TER years ago, when some of my favorite ladies start leaving TER, I moved over to escort.com but when the Fed's threatened them into to closing, all the reviews from 10 years disappeared.   I think too many review sites in general have allowed a few JERKS to harass the ladies. Now when we see a girl on BP we have to check through several sites to find her reviews, go to her site to see her rates etc.  Lots more homework to do.

You're too sweet!  Glad to see you are still around and being MrFisher.  Glad to hear that life is treating you well.  I miss the east coast terribly . . . and have considered moving back to Boston.  I think the next year will bring about a lot of change.  I will surely let you know if I do.
