What I'm referring to are the unanticipated benefits you sometimes get from spending a bit of time with someone half your age and a whole generation removed from your own narrow experience.

-- a book and author you never knew about before (for me: Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, by Haruki Murakami -- thanks, Chloe!)

-- great songs by a rock group that you totally missed because you were so busy working during the years that they released their seminal albums (thanks, Julia!)

-- some interesting anthropological insights into the French that helps you understand why they seem to dislike Americans so much (thanks, True!).

So -- what have you learned?

Over time I have become "friends" with more than a couple of providers,
and they quite often call me too vent about:

1. The amount of "Blocked" number calls they received after emphatically stating in their ad "NO BLOCKED CALLS WILL BE ANSWERED"

2. The number of inquiries of what city they are in when their ad plainly states it.

3. The number of inquiries as to donation amount when it is plainly stated in both their TER profile as well as advertisement.

And

Questions like "What do you do for a living?" are classic on so many levels.

My ATF is a health nut-something that I will never be accused of!  She has taught me a lot about healthier eating and even given me a couple of very helpful books. I don't see girls "half my age".  I'm 51 and my ladies all tend to be in their mid to late 30's. I'm not really looking for someone to help me recapture my youth. I just want to have some fun with a mature and sexy lady or two...

6) People are people - and Escorts - the high end... seem to be more like "regular people" than my stripper friends... for the most part, they seem to drink little, have the same hobbies as me, and are well versed on current affiars...  Heck, political discussion with a provider - you had better study up for that!

Not bad - when I look at this list... and two of the things were learned from one very special lady.....

That angels are real!

One very special lady has taught me about literature, something I have always regretted not getting much of in school. She is very into the political situation & I must be on my toes when we discuss the comings & goings of our wonderful leadership in this country. She loves Red wine & I have converted her to a red Zinfandel girl..good red zins..

Several of the ladies are very much into nutrition & have nursing skills...Learned quite abit about blood sugar control,excercise, & over all healthy eating.

There are some extrodinary women in this hobby.. smart, intelligent, & beautiful .

...but - I've had some really great times lately.

Have seen this one lady 3 times now and we've had the time to do "normal" things.  Walk around town.  Walk on the beach.  Have lunch, dinner, drinks, etc.

But every time we did these "normal" things - we'd be holding hands, kissing ( not "peck-on-the-cheek" nor "tongue-forced-down-the-throat-make-a-spectacle-of-yourself" either ), talking, joking, laughing!!

It's been a super long time - years actually - since I've had that with anyone, even in civvie life.  I'm a romantic, so the hand-holding and kissing is fine with me.  But I admit, that I'm so NOT used to it!!  Guess I just need to have MORE of it!!

Learned something??  Yeah.  For one of the few times in my life - I'm learning that there are special women in this world.  One's that can give of themseves not just in a physical way, but spiritually and emotionally, too.

And that I can give her the same.  We talked about it some.  How we both like to "give" - especially in romantic / physical ways, and how great it is when 2 "givers" are together.

It's a  turn-on for the "giver" to see how much their pleasures are being enjoyed - so they're inspired to do more.  And the "receiver" of those pleasures wants to give back.  It's their nature 1st of all - and 2nd - it's to "Thank" the other person.

Am I rambling??  Yeah, probably.  Sorry.

Last thing though is this.  The 2 of us have been having a tremendous time.  I think the "giving" is a cylclic thing when we really get going.  She gives - which turns herself & me on.  I give back - which turns us both on some more.  We keep going and going - but it's always up to a "higher" level each time, somehow.  And this is all during the few hours we spend together - whether it's in bed or not.  But it especially occurs in bed.

I have rediscovered the beauty and all out wonderfulness of women.  I feel like I am in my second adolescence.  I seem to find something very sexy and attractive in almost all of the ladies where I work.

I am rediscovering myself and learning that I am nowhere near as bad a guy as my SO thinks I am.  

I am finally realizing that being an older guy is not that bad and that I have been too critical and hard on myself.  The providers that I have seen have done great things for my self confidence.

Even though society may frown upon what providers do, I have found they are the coolest, most free women I have been with.  Everything and most people are boring to me in comparison.
