If it is a first offence with no ancillary charges DON’T waste your hard earned money on an attorney. You’ll spend anywhere from $2,500 to $10,000 to retain a lawyer to do nothing more than file your papers, appear for you a couple of times, and then tell you that to contest the Blood Alcohol evidence and “hopefully” exonerate you will cost you an additional $400+/hour for.as long as you wish to keep contesting it.

Plead guilty or No contest; pay your fine, go to the classes, do the community service/home arrest. You’ll save yourself thousands on attorneys that can’t do a single thing for you in respect to the minimum penalties required by the court.
