We had our walk for ALS this morning and I was reminded of that song that Tweet sings, My neck, my back, but the old people's version! By the time Santa and I were half way around the course on our first loop we were fussing about our neck, our back, our legs, our feet! The sun was too hot, there wasn't a breeze! lol
Of course it was all in good fun and certainly humbling to say the least but we had an amazing experience walking to support a friend and hero.

From a personal perspective I wanted to cry from our selfishness of wanting to keep all of these amazing people around as long as possible. Knowing that life has its cycle just wasn't something I wanted to think about this morning. I wanted to do what I could to ease this  man's pain and suffering while he was on this earth.. so I walked. Sad One couldn't, so it was pretty easy to walk and be humble.

Nonetheless, we had a good time! JW(Sad One) was on his scooter telling us to hurry up! Easy for him to say when his ass was 46 miles ahead of us! LOL LOL LOL

Just so you know, we were informed that the dollars you have donated were a part of a record setting $100k and with the donations still coming in, we will acheive over the $200k mark. Our team is in the top 5 for our region and you fine amazing caring people are to thank for that.

I was happy to fuss and sweat for such a great hero and cause.

I want to include a post that our hero posted on our local board so you can read his words and maybe understand why we love him.

Title: Why do I try???
Because of the good I see in mankind. The sweet caring people that gave from their hearts so I won't possibly have to suffer one of the worst fatal diseases. I see people I thought I could count on go poof into the night and total strangers become endearing and true. There is a cure and all they need is money and couple of years. I have had it 2 years now with 3-4 possible left. I want this cure soooo bad, and I want you guys to want it enough to do something, anything to help us get there! I'm here trying... don't forget me! Love to all that have done and will do something! XoXo JW

Thank you my TER family. Humble tears flow for the hope of the cure.
