I was given a wonderful gift by my oldest daughter last night...
a grandson.

I am a very proud and humble grandpa.

Just wanted to share.

You should be very proud...you spent the time, raised your children, and now have the pleasure of spoiling your grandchild absolutely rotten (it is your god-given right...nay...you JOB as a grandparent to do so...lol).  In a time of devastation and suffering thanks for sharing your joy at the birth of your grandson.

It's not an odd place because you've got to tell your buddies!
But also, someone had to have sex somewhere along the line, so that applies.  

And if no one had sex and you're still a Grandpa, then it's the second coming and that REALLY applies!

In my late 50's with kids 10 and 7!  I truly enjoy being a dad, could not have done it earlier.... but wow, what a kick...
