Lately I've been thinking about the list of ladies I look up to and mutually respect in the business. It's amazing how some girls have unintentionally paved the way for all the new talent I see popping on a daily basis and how they have been positive examples for new girls to look up to. I just started thinking about who my role models are and came up with a few names. I know there are more but this is a good start.
1. My number one role model is Sexy Toni. Toni has been in the business for many years and has always had a stellar reputation. I look up to Toni because I've always only known her to be sweet to everyone! She never gets into it with *any* other girls, she protects her clients like a bear protects her cubs and she's always consistently excellent when with her gentleman friends. She never ceases to amaze me!
2. Another girl I have always respected is Lora Maze (now Aimee Ashton). Lora took a very strong lead in how to utilize blossoming web technology into her everyday marketing. This was several years ago but Lora was the first person (besides being a provider) to introduce me to Skype. Lora used Skype like she was one of the developers. I think she had a phone number for every city she toured! Lora was also the first provider I ever noticed using video on her website. Again, this was several years ago and now many girls have videos but Lora was one of the first. I have to give her additional props for producing it herself.
3. Anneke Pleasures is another lady I have to give a hats off to. I've never met Anneke in person but have always admired her level of professionalism and ability to stay relevant as a mature provider in a community that is over-saturated with talent ads.
4. Someone new that I really like to watch is Courtesan Confidential (Mary) from Orlando. She's a breath of fresh air and a smart young woman who's already knocking the socks off of girls and guys alike. She's a natural for sure and a more than likely national "it" girl within the next couple of months (is she's not already "it" : ).

I have any "provider" role models. Now I do have role models that work in other avenues of life.
I would not say they are provider "role models" because I don't model my business based on what someone else does, but I will say they are inspiring because of real life accomplishments, their views on the business, being drama free, and not apologizing for what they do here. I never had a real mentor, so I had to make my own mistakes, learn from them, and in turn am able to help other women. I have met so many wonderful women, but I am usually the one always giving them advice lol.

never really had a mentor when I found the net to advertise on, just read and read and read! I made a ton of mistakes, and figured out things on my own. I still make errors, but I have grown a lot since I started

I was just wondering what would you look for in a provider role model? Also when you are on the providers only board what are the conversations that you would have on certain aspects of the business and how have your informational needs changed since you first entered? Also what where some questions did you want to ask when you first entered the business and where you able to find a resource that was able to give you guidance before you became "London Rayne" the worldly goddess of providing?
I did have a provider who I used to email and ask questions, and I definitely admired her!!! She is not on TER but she used to be.. I have not talked to her in ages! I always admired her and how smart she was as a businesswoman!

Dear Ms. Kennedy:
What was the one most piece of essential information that you received from the provider in question that was the most useful? Also how accessible was she to you? Finally did you find yourself discussing certain things that where relative to the business that you couldn't discuss to anyone else because you where in the business?
She would reply within a day or less to my emails, she used to post in the girl's sections on another site too..
She gave me marketing advice, how to present myself to the type of clientele I was seeking. She gave me lots of tips on how to seek a more elite clientele. I was working on doing the things she advised, but this was back in 05, and I ended up quitting for 2 yrs and had my daughter.
When I returned, the economy had drastically changed, and sadly, the route I was aiming for would not have been realistic any longer....
But she never had a "i'm better than you" attitude, she was never rude, or snooty.
Seriously, that woman has had my back since day 1 when I first logged onto TER and was considering getting started in this business. She's been such a wonderful source of information, support and encouragement. I am forever indebted to her.

She's the only hooker that has loudly and repeatedly screamed on the boards how she hates men...hates ethnic groups, and invariably hates herself.

There are many others as well and if I didn't name those fine ladies below, my sincerest apologies.
1. Devin Davette- one of the first ladies I was in contact with since joining TER. She is amazing, just knowing her from our conversations - I do look forward to meeting her sometime soon.
2. Kate Jacobs - bright, intelligent, beautiful (goes wihout saying). I contacted her about a potential date for my birthday - I was amazed when she responded! She is a very warm person - I can't wait until my birthday to meet her in person.
3. Serena Vincente - an Italian beauty from the UK; she is not only gorgeous but very intelligent and has her other profession which keeps her busy and from visitng the U.S. One day, I will have to plan a trip to London. From her reviews I can see that she is a wonderful lady; a real pleasure to spend time with.
4. Taylor Steele - I was fortunate to have spent some time with this lovely and intelligent lady. She is an excellent dinner companion - I enjoyed what she had between ears as much as I enjoyed what she had between her legs (I apology for the graphics). Once in a liftime does not describe it.
5. Chanel Pearl - I haven't had the fortune yet to meet this lovel Hungarian lady in person. She is in Vegas but does come to NYC so there is opportunity perhaps? We have a common heritage - but beyond that she always takes the time to repond to an email and I can tell that she is a very giving and warm person.
6. Angel Exotic - My gateway to "Heaven" she is one of the most precious people I have ever been in contact with. I have yet to meet her in person - but from our many PMs and emails I can see that she is indeed so unique and so caring about her clients. She is the type of person that once you meet her in person you can't not like her
I got taken in by 'hype' as much as any dumb, horny guy. I ended up actually working with one of my role models and getting to know her very well, on a personal and professional level. It taught me the HUGE difference between perception and reality, in this business. In that case, reality was UGLY. As a result, fairly or unfairly, when I see a portrayal of someone that's TGTBT, I'm extremely skeptical.
I notice what some ladies do, in terms of marketing. That's just professional curiousity/research, though. As far as looking up to somebody, or having a role model, no way. I've been in the biz for a while now and have probably seen more variety in the hobby than most people do. I've worked from $300-1000/hr in NYC at various points, and have known UTR madams as well as top-rated TER household names. So the grass is definitely NOT greener on someone else's side of the fence for me, because I've already been there. I do what works for me (or at least what feels comfortable to me), pure and simple.

They are not quite 'role models', but they are women that I thoroughly enjoy in almost every type of situation because they seem to have their sh!t together. The problem with naming them is you are bound to leave someone out, but I'm pretty certain if I've given them a 10, I was impressed by far more than their bedroom skills.

I have been trying to resist. But failed.
Baltimore Betty has been a Godsend to me as a mentor of sorts, someone to bang the psychology of this hobby as a dude off of to get the female perspective. Not even a client of hers or any of her ladies (Esmeralda will surely change that some day soon) and she has still put herself out there and invested her valuable time in me. She is just awesome
as I take their good/bad aspects and learn from them, be it a guy or girl.
I've conversed with a few chosen gals as I respect how they go about this business. What is important to me is that they enjoy what they do and treat the guys well. That they are discreet and do not have golden pussy syndrome lol. The fact that we all meet a shithead or two in this, but know it is not ok to speak of our encounters. Honest gals who are not mean are the type I speak to.
Sometimes it can be something as simple as conversing with someone who knows how this life is.
Some of mine? LR, Lina, and Angel_exotic. I 100% believe if you have not met these gals, you are not experiencing all that you could in this life. I do not copy what any other gal does, but the treatment that these gals give is how I go about this life (in and out of the hobby).
As far as guys, the major ones over the years that I have learned the most from are: Keystonekid, John Galt, and (believe it or not) CPA lol. I will give Hound an honorable mention as well lol. His outlook of the hobby and life is something refreshing.
This thread is a perfect reminder that there are some wonderful, considerate and compassionate as well as passionate people of both genders who frequent this hobby world
Kate is such an amazing role model. I can't say enough great things about her... She is sweet, and kind and sexy and genuine. I feel privileged that we share several of the same incredible clients.
