Some people say they used to focus heavily on looks, specific body types, or certain services, and later realised that connection, energy, or attitude mattered more. Others say their interests shifted as they became more comfortable exploring, or simply learned what actually works for them in practice versus in theory.
Age, experience, confidence, even stress levels seem to play a role. What felt exciting years ago might feel less important now, and something that once seemed uninteresting can suddenly make sense in the right context.
It made me curious how common that is.
So I’m wondering: Have your tastes changed over time, and if so, what do you think influenced that change the most experience, confidence, circumstances, or something else?
my age range has. As I have aged, so has the upper limit of providers I might see. I even see a 40-y.o. now, LOL. Slim to athletic, pretty face, natural body, thigh gap, no more than a C-cup.
For sure my taste in clients has changed!!! My max age of clients I will see now is 35, maybe up to 39. I used to just ask for a face pic only but at this point I need a full body pic to confirm they go to the gym daily. Preferred body fat 10%, I will go up to 13%. NO baldies. Don't even bother sending me a message. I need a full, thick head of hair. Teeth also need to be perfectly straight and white. 6' or taller, I will go down to 5'10" if he is really good looking. I also require at the very least a bachelor's degree, master or doctorate preferred. I also need to see current bank account statements to confirm you are at least in the top 8%. As I look back over the decades, I find I've had a consistent range of providers I prefer to spend time with. They're usually between 25 and 40, leggy, all real, long hair, great smiles, athletic or lean, anywhere from GND to Playboy model looks, most often with a standout derriere. I occasionally saw a lady closer to 50, one or two in the 22-25 yo range, and of course a few with MMs. I'm still on that trajectory.
What's changed is the performance I'm looking for. I lean very heavily towards duos now. I always liked them, but now they're >50% of my dates. I hope I never get tired of watching 2 (or more) sexy women get down with each other.

When I started this many years ago, kissing was not the norm, at least not in the bracket that I experienced. Now, without at least LFK and some indication the lady is into this, I am just not interested in any of her other qualifications. When reading reviews, if it becomes apparent kissing isn't her thing, I move on.
