indeed, their notice made a clear reference, in my mind, to use VPN to access their site, which is how I'm writing this post. There's always a work-around, however we'll have to wait a while for cityvibe and other escort DIRECTORY sites to move servers abroad. In the meantime, we'll need to rely on our Kgirl bookers to let us know directly who all their available girls are, along with girls' photos, etc... This will work for US long-time hobby mongers of course, LOL.

Using Tunnelbear here.. Weird thing is Canada didn't work, so I have to use a UK server. But the TunnelBear Chrome plugin makes it real easy to use.

I got the two year plan at about $4/month.
Nord is among the best privacy wise, and I get wire speed at 300mb/s through it.
Also, you can pay with monero, which is a privacy-centric crypto, so even less paper trail to trace back to you.

I am here this is crazy I can't believe we have to do this.
From TER's side that is not something they would have encouraged in the part. TER tracked IP addresses as a way to fight fraudulent reviews, members making multiple accounts, and banned members coming back under new handles. Kind of hard to do that if everyone is using VPNs.
Stupid Law. I doubt the people that the law is trying to target use TER

Some of my ladies have expressed their disappointment about losing years of reviews. Unlike some, they really have appreciated and are proud of the work they've done, and the clients who they have done.

VPN seems to be working with the exception of Canada for some reason.

I am posting from the Netherlands now I guess... kinda easy to do.
I've just asked to be de-listed, but I don't even know if it will go through (when I requested, I got error messages even with using a TOR/VPN combo, something I've used for a while when accessing TER). It's something I knew in my gut would be necessary, but I hated the finality of it. I hope you guys don't view all de-listers as someone with something to hide but rather someone who values discretion, and in the US, that means not being on TER or sadly, any big ad site (RIP BP, and I suspect, Er*s soon)
I've met some wonderful people on TER, so while I don't like everything about the system, I've never been a 'throw the baby out with the bathwater' person. Best success to you all!

VPN Is not a "thing" you shutdown. All a VPN is doing is routing your internet traffic through another country essentially just a relay. Technically, Whether I am in California going to TER via Berlin Germany is really not any different than actually sitting in Berlin logging into TER. I can only see the VPN ceasing to work is if TER prevented inbound traffic from ISP's outside the US which in and of itself is not illegal . There are loopholes in everything that is legislated and VPN is the loophole here. Take online gambling for instance, You can't access those sites within the US, but you can with VPN and that is not illegal, the illegal part comes in when you try to collect your winnings because they can't wire money into the US through illegal gains.
The issue with VPN’s is the lack of credibility reviews will hold from now going forwards. TER have always regulated reviews by tracking IP’s (that’s how they used to catch providers posting their own reviews) and the strength of the reviews was a big pull - so now what? I doubt they’ll keep this open unless they can find a viable solution...

When I saw the blocked message this morning I finally took action ... downloaded the Onion browser from the App Store and easily connected from the NY area.
Hope those incessant posters will fade away and not discover the vpn loophole in getting into TER. I hope so because the drama was escalating around here before good ole Jeff Sessions cut the lifeline.
If you value your anonymity and your privacy, don't stick with a "free" VPN. Nothing is every free and most likely they will monetize you somehow. VPNs are cheap, usually $3-$5 a month and many you can buy using gift cards so there isn't even a paper trail leading back to you.
Things to look for when choosing a VPN.
1. Lots of geographical locations to choose where your IP address looks like it's coming from
2. You want the VPN to encrypt all your internet traffic so your ISP or phone company has no idea what website you're looking at or what you're doing on it.
3. You want a VPN that does NOT keep logs of any kind. This is important so if they get raided, they don't have any incriminating info to give.
4. Speed. Since all your internet traffic will be moving through the VPN, you don't want it to artificially slow your internet experience down. So make sure they have a lot of vroom.
5. Payment options - some VPNs allow you to pay using anonymous gift cards. Good if you want to leave no paper trace of you ever using a VPN
Google these two VPNs, nordvpn and privateinternetaccess. Both of these are excellent!
