let mine expire when they went dark in US - have been a paid VIP for 15 years. sad.

Not that there's been a topic worth commenting on in weeks, but as VIPs continue to expire, Aliases vanish and so do the few remaining contributors. Maybe I'll take a trip to Vancouver every few weeks for a rub and tug / review opportunity just to keep my alias and PM capabilities active.

I just got a nine day notice of my VIP expiring. Can't really justify the expense to maintain it. So I guess that's my swan song.  I'll probably read the forums but won't often comment.

It has been suggested before that TER give everyone free, limited VIP -- like Providers get -- which would give them access to PM (Private Messaging).  I don't know if "regular" free, limited VIP includes aliases, but they could try that, too. JUST TO KEEP PEOPLE HERE. As people find alternatives, they are less likely to return, even if TER returns to anything close to pre-FOSTA SESTA.

FREE LIMITED VIP FOR ALL! (with aliases, if that needs to be added)

Probably wishful thinking, but one can hope.

I think that if you limited it to people who have posted on the boards that would go a long way to keeping things safe, and semi-normal. That, and sending an email out telling everyone to get a VPN and visit from someplace outside of the USA.

That said, I think everyone already has found greener pastures. It's too late already.
My assumption is that once TER becomes unprofitable and it's VIPs have all expired it'll go offline permanently.

At this point, I dont think the powers that be here give a rat's ass if we stay around or not. U.S. clients and providers are of no revenue value to TER currently, or for the not so near future. Reviews as they were would give the Salem fire squad in D.C. enough gasoline to burn the world, in terms of this site. FOSTA/SESTA isn't going anywhere, short of a miracle. The only thing U.S. users contribute to the site currently are a small boost to the users online tally. In short....as it stands now, TER has nothing to gain immediately nor the foreseeable future by throwing a bone to U.S. members.

If the ad boards are a proxy for international activity, TER is dead.  Only the UK/London and Canada cities have any recent ads posted.  Usually days apart.  And I suspect some of those are US girls giving false location info in order to post ads.

TER doesn't appear to have an income stream to keep it afloat.

Out of my VIP membership through PM capability to exchange intel in my local network backchannel with other members on new girls that come into town.  It has somewhat made up for the lack of reviews.  For most of the guys and gals here that don't hobby or work in other countries, the current review access is of little value.

money at nothing. What's review site without reviews and hooker board with no hookers? There's 2 hookers and 10 John's on the board nowadays. Yet I still pop in every once in awhile because this place used to be awesome. ~HC

Considering how little of value there is remaining here post FOSTA/SESTA, beyond a post or two now and then.

At this point, I highly doubt I'll be renewing my VIP when it runs out. It looks like the Senator will soon retire.

Personally, I doubt it but one can hope.  After all, what good is saving TER from FOSTA/SESTA exposure if you kill it in the process?  That's what seems to be happening.
As for me, I might as well stick around to watch it crater since I still have more than 4 years worth of free VIP left.  Any bets on whether TER will even last that long?  The odds are impossibly long.
What a shame.
As for you, Senator, I hope you stick around long enough to play a role in the impeachment trial.

but of course the patient died" lol

I do hope that the good senator makes the final few posts here on TER, with a different hottie in each one of course.

I might be interested in buying some of your VIP days, but I'll be paying in Venezuelan Bolivars of course. I think the going rate is one Venezuelan centimo for one month of TER VIP. lmao

...it doesn't mean his other alias is. At this point, it really doesn't matter if the few remaining here learn what my other handle is. So I'll continue to check in from time to time and share some beauty I come across on twitter.

Even thou they seem to be "marketing" themselves to peeps outside of the US, it doesn't seem to be working. Watching this site that was hands down the adult site out there be reduced the sheer rubble is frankly beyond sad to me.

They are losing their ass financially so I don't get the logic here.  Frankly I now wish the powers that be had taken CDL up on his offer and answered his PMs.

Steph :-/

taking down interesting threads.

There were a couple of decent threads on here a few days ago that suddenly disappeared; why - we will never know.

GaGambler141 reads

There actually were a couple of decent threads here a couple of days ago, and it was "almost" getting fun again, right up until they pulled every single one of the dozen or so posts I made here over a two day period.

I agree that if they don't want to bother with the discussion boards anymore, why put us through this slow death? It would be so much easier to simply pull the plug.

Senator.Blutarsky133 reads

...even if the Dems win back the house, I wouldn't support the action you predict. It's a moot point anyway because the Senator will retire from TER in November. You can still find me on twitter.

That have been put in place are to protect main stream social media platforms. Where most connections are being made.

They will have the best legal representation money can buy.

What do you think will happen to fb?

Me: Nothing

That's not the point.  If the new law hadn't been passed, FB likely would have never been sued in the first place.  Personally, I'm hoping they fight it all the way and get it tossed, which I think would at least show just how absurd this new law is.
