Providers (and hobbyists) should be aware that if one has an internet-based ad, should you type in their phone number in doing a Google search, that/those ads will pop up in that search.  This can happen even if the provider has retired but still has the same telephone number.

It is interesting, but apparently the folks at Google have not discovered TER.

While doing some exploration on this, I typed in a provider's relatively new telephone number and got a hit for the below-url, which is a Las Vegas based listed on "poison" providers.  But the list also contains names of women from other cities, mostly Los Angeles.

I just typed in my cell phone number in the google search, and my profile with TER popped right up. Also, another ad that I am on, from a different site. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes its true..thats why I have a prepaid cell..because I dont have to give a name or address to set up the account..you do with the plans..I pay a little more but its for anonimity..its long been this way..I've known about google search for about 3 yrs...thats wby you should always have unlisted home # and fake name for cell phone if you put the # on the internet. and PO box for all my mail..I worry that some LE would type in my cell# and all my info would pop up..thats also why i never download email from the server and do a hard drive wash of my computer by weekly...I think it pays to be anonomous

but got tired of buying the minutes, and they do run out fast (especially, if you are a talker like myself here LOL). Also, what comes up is Melinda, the voluptuousblackbeauty, blah, blah, blah. None of my personal info, such as my real name comes up. My TER profile comes up, and me on another ad. I am not too worried about it, but was just amazed to see my TER profile pop up. Am I losing sleep over my TER profile popping up on google? Nope. lol Being the business close to 4 years, you learn to take precautions, what to do and what not to do, you become very paranoid, suspicious, and in this type of business, that is the good way to go. Also, if LE really wants you, they will find you, with a prepaid cell or not. Be safe!

My # did not bring up anything.
: )

Especially good as it was one of those "odd caller" days.

I didn't get anything with the link though.
What is that about?

even though the lady might not want to pay for their ad rates. 2 or 3 more actual reviews would be my guide to avoiding "Poison" ladies not some website. Thanks for the Google idea :)

One suggestion is to use a prepaid cell phone for incoming calls (the number you publish on the website), and have a regular one for outgoing calls that you make, and for your regulars.  It can get interesting juggling two numbers and phones, but the advantages are:

1) The prepaid one can use voicemail without a charge.
2) You can get the messages from the prepaid one without a charge.
3) Your regulars can still get a hold of you on your "private" number.
4) If you do wish to answer the prepaid one, talk for a minute or two, and then call them back on you regular one.
5) If the prepaid one gets too abused, or you wish to change numbers, it is easy.

I have typed my full name into google, and got some real interesting hits also.  There is actually a series of fictoinal books with a lead character with my exact name.

I would rather have my life, less complicated, and just keep one cell. My first cell was a prepaid, and it was more than a pain in the butt, than what it was worth. I mainly use my cell, as my business, so when someone calls me and they say Melinda, then I know what it's all about ;) Otherwise, if I get a call and they say
my real name, then I know it's something personal. I never had any issues at all with how I manage this :)

That's interesting Trek, but I think if I retired, I would most definately change my phone numbers anyways. There are a lot of advertisers that use our info without our consent to " beef up" their rosters, especially when they are starting out. The info is accurate and the pics aren't being used falsely. They just took it upon themselves to be your advertiser. So even if I did contact all my known advertisers, there are still a lot of sites my ad may still be viewed without my knowing and in return may still get calls on. BTW, I did check my cell on googles, seems kosher to me, meaning none of my personal information has been revealed and the links the number is associated with are in the right topic...escort.

#2 Is another thing altogether. I am not sure how this site gets it's info or whether it is reliable, but then again does it really matter? I think we are finally getting the real sense of what the internet can and can not do for you. My feelings ( and they are just my feelings) are that we may be coming full circle on this whole internet based business. Reviews are not as reliable as they use to be. If a girl gets 20 good reviews, not perfect, just better then average, they are questioned whether they are paid for or have an inside connection with the site owner...God the list goes on.

Most of my clients don't know what a TER or TBD is. They have never read a review, nor do I think they care to. They call or email me, ask me for my rates, see about my availability. They either decide to make an appointment, or thank me for my time and hang up, or don't respond to my email to further set up an appointment. That's it. Once we meet, if we get along great, he may call me in the future.

I guess my point is that perhaps the review system had more merit a few years ago. I was very fortunate because I got to travel and meet people who are my friends today through posting and reviews. But I don't know anymore. To me it's gotten a lot simpler. I post rarely, but my face has been around long enough that I think it's pretty recognizable and therefore I would not be deemed a Fly By Night. A-Lists, Top Lists and Bad Lists really don't amount to much. They are someone's opinion  and should be taken that way.

Did some checking on that Sinful Girls site .... Interesting results ...

In San Diego they list about 12 or so girls as non-poisionous.  did google searches on phone number of 50% random sample and TER seasrches by phone number:

- Google search results: every phone number came up with 2-5 DIFFERENT girls.  Only one search returned a web page for the same girl (alomg with several others)

- TER phone number searches came back with profiles for diferent girls and in several cases two girls niether one the same as the one pictured on the site. In EVERY case the reviews were mostly 1's and 2's ROB's

hmmm ...

If you list your phone number on the internet, whether it be for this line of work or to list your services as an attorney, it will come up. Even if you do a search on a white pages directory, unless you are unlisted, you should come up. It's not breech of privacy because you have given authorization to make this information public by making it available via your ads, website or through Verizon. That's why if you do decide to leave this business it would be good thinking to change all of your numbers that have been associated with ads, websites, business cards ect...you wouldn't believe how many people keep old ads for months and decide to call or a client you saw a year ago decides to give you a ring while he's in town.

I do feel sorry for the person who may get my phone number once I retire...They will probably demand a new one quick and wonder who the hell was this Kym Regal anyways??? LOL!!!

Those that don't want to pay the higher cost of a pre-paid cellular phone but want anonymity might look at Sprint.  If you have poor credit--a name and SSN that Sprint can't find in a TRW search--Sprint charges a $125.00 deposit.  The point anybody--without showing any ID--can walk into Sprint and leave with a phone if they are willing to pay the deposit.  You can check your invoice on line as long as you can remember your SSN as the password is the last 4 digits.  You can pay your Spirit bill in cash at any Sprint store.  If you get the local plan you get something like 1000 peak minutes for $45.00 and unlimited non-peak minutes.  For $5.00 more you can start you non-peak minutes at 7pm.  No, I don't work for Sprint or own stock in the company.  Yes, I agree that having an untraceable cell number is nice.  Does everybody understand what I didn’t say?
