I am nowhere near a computer whiz so I probably have a really stupid question. If I were to move (which I will probably do in the next couple years) and change internet providers (from dsl to cable most likely), would I need to alert TER about the change? I am sorry if this comes off as really dumb, but I don't know much about the behind the scenes workings of computers or websites or all that.

This is my response to the “This is the Real TER” post on the Los Angeles board. I figured if I spent all this time documenting this the least I should do is share it with the class.

First of all, I am sorry for the time it took to respond to this thread. There are 90 more girls waiting to be relisted that take a little higher priority the Kenshi’s rants.
It seems as TER grows, more and more stories come about me. I don’t usually bother to contest them. I have found that the people who already like you do not need to hear it and the people who do not like you won’t believe you anyways. I never said that I am an angel but to quote the good book “let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.” There is this one story involving three girls, a Chihuahua, and a chili cheese burrito I will need to explain one day.
I left Kenshi’s thread up because I figured it might be of interest to a few misinformed members in the audience. I can say, Kenshi is way off base on this one. I am not sure the relationship our friend Kenshi has to this agency, but it seem that either though ignorance or malice, he has not considered the possibility it could be the agencies fault they were delisted. Let’s take a look.
The agency was delisted for review fraud. When the primary suspect contacted TER asking why he was banned, we asked him to explain this log file:

He responded “Okay **** was purchase dress in my store and she using my computer you know some time they buy my store in downtown now I know what is problem
I sorry for that..David After It's not gonna happen again “
I can understand these things happen but if that was the case can you help me understand this:

It shows that Sweetjade must have also been shopping on 12/30/07, 12/31/07 and 1/2/08. Was there a sale?
It also shows that at least 5 username related to either ginoo or park we used from 11/08/07 to 11/28/07. Coincidentally, park was part of his name.
When I did a little more research I found that there were a total 8 of names created by this same person:

When I looked at each of the 8 usernames I found that 6 of them had reviews of girl from the same agency

I may not exactly be keen investigator like you but something seemed, in your own words, a bit odd. When I emailed this person back he has not responded.
Here it is in a nutshell. You are wrong. Now that I wasted several hours proving it, I have 90 more providers to get back on TER. Please read this:

Those of us who pay to belong to this site do so because we have a belief the majority of the information we receive here is credible and because that information is very important to our success and enjoyment in this "hobby".
I heard a story once about a bank president being asked at a chamber of commerce meeting why when so many other businesses seemed to constantly worry about employee theft, the banking industry had the reputation of not having that problem.
The president of the bank responded this way, "Our employees handle tens of thousands of dollars each day yet at the end of each day, their cash trays always balance. The reason for that is they know they cannot get away with it."
Posts such as yours point out how aggressive TER is and has to be to keep their business model as it is intended.
Unfortunately, I believe I read on one of the posts a very small percentage of the TER members read these various boards. I think examples of this type activity and how it is tracked should be very specifically spelled out in the rules and regulations pages. This should include a warning about multiple members signing in from the same computer.
Keep up your aggressive pursuit of the few who can mess up everything for the majority.
As I believe everyone would agree, yours and the rest of the staff really do have a thankless job on this part of the business, but one that is unfortunately very necessary.

No - as long as you remember your TER username & password you can log into your account from any computer. If you were wondering about the recent thred where a lady was banned for using someone elses computer, it raises red flags with TER when users and providers are logging in from the same computer.
There is never a time when you need to tell us anything like that....
.... We already know
Before any of you paranoid nuts take this too far, any website knows what IP address the users are using.
involuntarily looked over my shoulder when I read that LOL
I still like the lady that said that any hobbyist that tried to touch her computer would walk away with a bloody stump. LOL Come to think of it, she never specified which stump.
next time if you want to save yourself the trouble, you're welcome to borrow my good buddy
