In the past, when I've reconnected with a lady who I haven't seen in 4-5-6 years it's usually isn't what it use to be. Only one time I can remember where we actually picked where we left off. But as a whole, there was something "Missing". The jumping off the chandelier and the crazy shit just wasn't the same. I attribute to to the "it's not you, it's me". And it's probably all on me. I ask because there's a young lady who took time off for a couple of years. I want to see her but she told me of an experience she just went through. She connected with an old regular client. She told me it wasn't the same as before. They both knew it. So I guess she's trying to rein in my expectations. Or she's trying to save us from each other.
My question, guys has this happened to you?? It wasn't the same as in the "Good ol days"

last month I saw someone I hadn't seen for 6 years. I have to admit that I don't remember much about the session 6 years ago, but based on my older, glowing review, this time was every bit as good if not better - lol!

yes i have had the same disappointment re connecting many times.      i think there are a variety of reasons this happens ..  with a "civilian" girl different reasons than a pro escort.   sometimes its a matter of greater expectations .. especially with a girl you had seen several times ..  by the 4th or 5th time you had reached a higher level of intimacy and trust ....
now its several years later and for most girls you have to start over, its only human nature.  so you can't expect that same higher level it took several meetings to achieve the first new time you meet.

sometimes its just time has gone by and people become more jaded.      but results the same,  tough to re connect that old magic ...

however once in a blue moon its even better than before but i find that the exception.

I knew someone over the course of many visits (and many locations and many name changes) at the NY KMPs.  As happens, she disappeared for a while but returned ~2 years later. (I went to a KMP but she wasn't pictured on their website. I asked for a lineup and - voila! - there she was! We recognized each other immediately. Off we went ...)
.
She told me that she had taken a long sabbatical at some KMPs in Connecticut.  The session was not like it was 2 years before. I don't know what happened. She was a tiny girl and I am PURELY GUESSING that maybe a customer got rough with her tossing her around or even hurt her with roughness. That is a story totally of my own making just to try to explain her very restrained behavior and changed personality.  That was the last time I saw her.

One Korean massage gal I had seen regularly for years dissapeared suddenly, though I tried to contact her on and off for about two years.   Then one day she answered, and we picked up where we left off until one day the line went dead again, and that was that.   Best provider I ever met in so many ways.  (Not the staying in touch stuff, though.)

Of the approximately 10 providers I lost touch with and then met again over the years, five were successes, and five were fails.   Not sure where the blame lies.   Lots of factors to consider.

that lightning never strikes twice in the same place. One day you just realize that there are some people that you will never see again - at least not in the same way.

Yes, there are a few ladies I'd love to regain an old chemistry with, but I know it just isn't the same now.

what she said about the other customer, I think a legitimate starting point is to ask her how big her ass is now compared to the last time you saw her.  If she says its the same or smaller, then I say you don't have much to lose seeing her.

and yes it was lowered to the ground with the side pipes and the mag wheels, air chocks, dingle balls, every thing but the little doggie in the window.

I grew up in a mixed area of the South Bay area where the choices were high rider or low rider. Surfer or soul.  I mainly chose lowrider and soul, although I did have my hippy years with the white kids too, Some of those white hippy chicks were a lot less drama than the Chicanas I used to fuck with who would cut your dick off if you pissed them off too badly. The hippy girls were usually too stoned to care.

Mine was a 64 Impala, too. I was on the surfer/racer side of the spectrum. So my buddies and I worked together to restore other cars for racing. The impala was just too heavy and slow.

My white friends mainly drove Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers et al, usually jacked up in the back and built for speed, not comfort.

If I recall correctly you are from the Bay Area, I am sure you remember the back way into Santa Cruz, Hwy 9 out of Los Gatos, or I guess more accurately Saratoga. I lost track of how many people got killed on that stretch of road back in the day I almost got killed myself a couple of times trying to drive in the fog where you could barely see your own hand in front of your face, but it was a fun road to race on when you could actually see. Treacherous, but fun.

I grew up in SoCal. Beach Boy country.
I may or may not have done a little bit of illegal racing back in the day. Learning how to outrun police cars was a prerequisite. For those who did that sort of thing. 😉😇

You should know better, it's a show car..Race a GTO, Road Runner...but not a 64..my gawd. It's like painting a Ferrari Pink or putting mayo on a corn beef and rye.

I never actually thought seriously about it. But I certainly wished it wasn’t the boat that it truly was.

It was rare for teens to have their own car in the crowded where-are-you-going-to-park-a-car City. I had a friend with a subcompact that sort of looked like an AMC Gremlin, but I don't remember the actual make and model. The bottom of the line ran on one rubber band but I think he had the model that had a second rubber band that would kick in for overdrive. He wanted to give it even more of a suped up look. I helped him install lifters on the rear end. (I can recall borrowing a big jack -- almost like a fork lift -- to evenly raise the entire rear end of the car.)
.
The car had leaf springs in the rear (not coil springs or shock absorbers) and he (we) finally got the lifters installed. Initially, the leaf springs natural curve was with the "bowl" ( of the springs pointing up to the sky, this way: road ( sky.  Once the lifters were installed, and we lowered the car, the springs curved the other way: road ) sky. I remember telling him, "I don't think the springs are supposed to be curved that way."
.
He jazzed it up with more stuff, like glue-on fake hood pins. (Can you still get those?) You never know when the rubber band might snap and blow the hood off!
.
Fun times.

Yep   That's a Gremlin.  It came with a six cylinder engine and you could get it with an 8 cylinder engine.   I don't think the one in the picture had a v-8.  It was a Levi's edition and came with denim seats
