I think Al Qaida/Bin Ladin (gee, aren't we still trying to hunt him down) have a real flair for the dramatic. The attack on 9/11 focussed on our economy (WT center), defense (Pentagon) and comand-and-control (White House). Going after a vacation resort like Las Vegas would be too lame for these guys. Besides, they're probably vacationing there.

As for me, I'm going to Vegas this week, staying at the top of the Bellagio(great view of jets departing LAS) gambling my ass off, drinking absolut and seeing three of the hottest escorts between LA and LV. F#$k those bastards, I'm going and I'm having a good time. MfSD.

I will be flying out of LAX on July 4'th, though not to Vegas.

Vegas would be as good a target as any, but I dont believe the recent reports of threats were credible.

And until I see Osama in a new video I am starting to believe he is under a tonne of (fallen) rock in Tora Bora. Though if he did decide to take in the sights of the USA, I would be happy to take him to the local shooting range. Stayed in Venetian, you could not even get near the elevators without a room key in hand for each person.  No monkey business there for me (real work!) but I can imagine the hightened security might place a damper on hobbying.  Hugs, Kate
