As the price of pussy has gone up in recent years, have you found that you are paying more, or did you hold the line and find new girls at lower rates?

In other words, I don't mind paying more if I'm getting commensurate value.  Most ladies I consider overpriced are like the one in your example.  When I was starting out, I tried a few like this, but I quickly learned that there is NOTHING a girl at $1000 or $2000 can do that a girl at $500 can't do.  The ones with high prices are usually basing their rates on their looks, not their service.  So if she's a bucket list girl, like some porn star that I fantasized about when I was little younger, and she's still hot even though she's 40-ish, I would be willing to pay more to scratch a name off my bucket list, but generally speaking, most of the indies I see are in $500 range, plus or minus.  Agency girls are still a bit less.  I have never lost a "fave" because she raised her prices unless the VALUE is not equal to the new asking price.

I concur with Coeur, I scratched my itch with one of my ATF pornstars and she was top notch service wise but pricey.  There have also been some duds in there for similar pricing as well.  These days I like to stick around the $400 price range with an occasional jump to $500 for the right one.  On another note I have seen some providers, in their lower rate days, that now charge nearly 1K and although they were good, it makes me wonder what they could have added to warrant the significant up-charge.

I have had providers from 300-1800 and have learned that the 300.00 providers are just as good, and sometimes better then the more expensive providers, I try to stay between 300.00- 500.00, but every now and then, I will go above that, but not to often!

Is 100 more than whatever the median price is for an 8-10 here in LA. 700 is almost baseline for a hot gal here. 600 seems like a bargain most days.

The agency I used for a while seemed to specialize in beautiful young chicks who would see you for 6 or 7 and then a week later raise their rates to 8, 9 or even 1k. I refused to play along.
But, the heat hasn't gotten so bad that I've left the kitchen. I can see some seriously hot chicks for 700.  
To the extent I have a hard limit, it's 800 (presuming the extra is for anal or another specialty) right now. In a year, if inflation continues the way it has, even that may not be enough to derail me completely.  It is what it is.

I tend to stay away from the 1k and up girls. Like others have said, it's rarely (if ever) worth it. I saw a girl for 1200 once that had a long list of 10/10 reviews. She was hot, not as hot as her pics but hot and I found her to be average to below average in performance. She also asked me at least a half dozen times in the hour to be sure I gave her a 10/10 review as well. SMH.  
I also find that when they get into the 3k minimum range like the lady listed as an example, the attitude is generally that you are lucky they are allowing you to spend your money on them. Not saying this lady is that way, I've never met her but that would be my guess based on nothing other than all the work she's had done and her price range.

Do the guys who are willing to pay that freight even cruising websites? I mean, if I'm a hedge fund manager or a trust fund baby or a dotcom millionaire (which I personally would have to be to throw down that kind of money for one date with one girl), am I going to be cruising the web or do I have special assistants and concierge and cutouts who help with this sort of thing? Genuinely curious.  
I will say that although I've spent as much as 1200 for a single porn star date (and would again for the right pornstar) I have to agree with others that I don't see how any woman could make 3k justifiable for me. There's nothing that my aching old body could do in an hour (and likely not hers either) to get value out of an hour at that price.

I keep an eye out for good deals. Luckily in my general area you can still find pretty agency girls working for 240/hr, sometimes a little less, but overall the trend is towards 300 to 400, and trending higher. Personally I don’t pay past 400/hr, and I stick to that. I’ve even managed to get a few girls to agree to drop their rate to accommodate me through grandfathering, and once through negotiation that was initiated by her, but if they’re asking for 500 and won’t budge even with some gentle nudging, I leave it alone. I don’t even attempt to see girls asking for 600/hr and above, those prices are ridiculous and I expect that they’re charging that much only because they’re super young and hot, wear expensive panties and booking expensive hotels, and not because they’re particularly good at the work. I once booked a gorgeous, talented, barely adult Utah girl for 240/hr, I can’t imagine seeing her for 1,000 just because she’s cute. Maybe these super expensive girls are worth the cash, but I’ll never know.

I take it that most of the posters on this thread aren't really into the GFE.

I was in contact with a touring lady and because I liked her twitter posts, was willing to see her at her minimum 90 minutes for $800.  Which would have been the most expensive I've ever had.  But the very day I was going to commit, she bumped her minimum up to 2 hours and $1000.  Now actually on an hourly basis that's cheaper than what I was going to book, but in absolute terms, a thousand bucks is a thousand bucks. So I had to disappointingly pass.

I won't pay more than it takes to get good friendly service.  Extreme prettiness seems to drive high prices, but isn't of high cash value to me (note: to me).  I have a pretty good idea what good service costs in my area, so that sets my cutoff price.  Of course, it varies over time.

You are of course correct, Mya.  That's why I didn't give a dollar cutoff.  "It varies over time" and, of course, across places.  If I move to somewhere that good friendly service is available for less, my cutoff will change, and likewise if I move somewhere it is only available for more.

Rent enters into it, of course, but rent is only loosely correlated with provider rates and populations.  I live in a "major city" region of very high rents, but my cutoff here would not allow me to partake in several other regions with lower rents.

So clearly other factors are important.  I don't actually know what those factors are.  Maybe you can help us understand?
