Of course they are used in place of a man's comdom! What are you thinking?  Double condoms? Some people don't like them, but most love them. Next best thing to bb. Do a search man. The topic has been discussed to death, and as often as you are on the board I don't know how you could have missed that.

If you come to visit me, just ask to try it out!
A sense of humor is helpful because they are a bit different - but NOT tight! LOL~~~~

...female condoms offer more protection than male ones from certain STD's like herpes

I see a lot of positive response on here...but I was researching them in the interest of taking them for a test drive and found information that there is a 20% failure rate on preventing pregnancy (and if that's the case, what else is it failing at??).  That sounds to me like 1/5 (20/100) of women who use them will get pregnant...because the egg is only fertile for 24-36 hours out of the month, I would think that 1/5 women getting pregnant would be less likely with NO protection at all.  That scared me right out of giving them a shot...apparently the failure rate is attributed mostly to "user error" because the percentage goes down with "proper use." Still way too high failure rate percentage for my liking...I'll steer clear.

Female condoms do work just as well as male condoms, the failure rate due to improper usage can be due to heat of the moment, dim lighting, or inexperience with it. I have experienced it and it is mind blowing experience.

Essentially, it just feels more "natural," but it is still isn't the same thing.

Not every provider likes it, but if she offers it, try it for yourself and see if you like the feeling.

However, there is a small degree of trust here.  You need to make sure that she has put the condom on herself and it would be better to watch her do it, only because there is the slight chance that she is a crazy one that wants you to impregnate her for some insidious reason.

Yes, it's totally a remote chance and tail risk, but it's still something to consider.

The "failure rate" you are talking about is because people are so used to using the male condom that they don't take the time to .....  I guess the best way to say it is that we don't aim.  Once a male condom is in place we are used to just feeling around and sticking whats hard into whats soft and hot.

With the female condom you actually need to watch and make sure you are sticking you dick into the condom (its already in your partner).  The failures are because someone just felt around and wound up being outside the condom.  Take your time and make sure you get inside the condom.

If she hasn't inserted the condom its pretty damn obvious.

Just as a provider would never want to see you just pull a condom outta thin air, I would never want to see a pussy with a female condom inserted and assume that all is well.

There have been insidious things in this business.  And while it may sound paranoid, if it's not that big a deal, she won't have an issue with it.

There are some women that are not comfortable in wearing female condoms.
I physically cannot wear them.

What did the GUY have to say about the experience? What if your boyfriend said it was 10 times better than wearing a male condom?

He liked it and it was his first time using it too but it made him nervous to finish inside of it. I'll get a few  more of them tho (can walk into a nearby clinic anytime).
And of course if a bf liked them much better than the male condom I'd load up on them...i'm accommodating.....it was still fun for me too but I could still feel the ring moving around a little and even more after I came....it'll take getting used too...guess i'm officially female condom friendly.  :)

Of course it made him nervous to finish inside it. For the first time in who knows how long, it actually felt like he was fu@king a real pussy, without a tight-wrapped d!ck.

I'd be surprised at any guy who prefers the regular male condom over the female condom.
