Those that are not usually state that in their ads that they do not accept text messages or calls from internet/apps numbers.  I've been using Google voice for a good 7+ years now and rarely run into issues, but like prices, for a provider I really want to see I have no issue using my real number if needed.  

Some women are very specific about wanting your real number. They're pretty rare in my experience. QB is one of them. I have non-issue giving her my real number (and other RWI).  

 
I've used GV since 2017 with great success. For some reason one lady I see when she's in town doesn't get my texts and I don't get hers via GV. No idea why. So with her I have to use my real number. Other than that I've had no issues using GV and that's the number I'm known by.

Every provider is different. Some automatically assume you’re using it bc you’re LE, blacklisted, don’t want to screen, or are a fantasy booker (which are all valid assumptions, but not always true).

I’ve had completely normal clients use them. Imo if you’re willing to screen and pass, it doesn’t matter. I couldn’t care less if you use a voip, scrapper email, or potato.. just screen, read my website, and remain respectful during booking - you’re good until proven otherwise.

My guess is it’s mostly an issue for providers who do “light screening”. Instead of directly asking for your ID or LinkedIn they screen via your number/email. Using a voip or scrapper email makes it impossible so they either don’t reply, or want you to reach back out on a personal number/email. Their body, their rules!
