there is a special section and page banner reserved for rip off bitches (ROB's), but i'm puzzled about when a hoor gets rolled under that heading.

case in point: a pricey and widely advertised provider in my area (see link) routinely churns out lousy reviews, for example "total bitch" and "total rip off," with consistent reviewer comments such as "Told her I was ready for FS but she told me she doesn't do that!!!!" or "I said wait! You haven't even done the full service yet! She laughs Full service LOL Ya right."

doesn't this lady deserve her crown of red thorns, after all her hard work to get it?

She must have made some efforts to have herself removed from the rip-off list. She does have rip-off reviews, has had many in the past and is perhaps the most infamous ROB around.

She looks so good, she thinks she can get away with it. In fact, she does get away with it apparently. As for these guys who refuse to write rip-off, when they've clearly been ripped-off, they're the same breed who give money to the girl, when she's clearly not the girl in the picture.

I don't get it, myself. These guys wrote reviews of Claudia on TER, they must have read the reviews before going to her. I'd love to see her and her kind run out of business. The only way that can happen is if all these gentlemen stop being so stupid, read the reviews and realize Claudia is a RIP OFF BITCH.

riker, maybe you can help ter with this ... but my post was to the discrepancy between the "ROB" label attached to her page and the performance ratings, and the discrepancies between ter's profile page and the behavior described in the reviews.

first, she's not labeled as an ROB ... even though 3 reviewers explicitly call her a rip off (performance =1), and *13 out of 21* reviewers (62%) give her a performance review of 3 or less. so the first question is: just what does an ROB have to do to get the ROB red letter designation at the top of her page? mace somebody?

second, it's quite clear from the reviews that this cow is not providing sex, or permitting touch pussy, or lick pussy, or kissing (with or without tongue!), yet the profile page says she does all those things. as near as i can tell, the profile page gets set in stone based on the first review or two, and doesn't take into account changes of behavior, which in her case is clearly downhill (plot the performance ratings by time of review). or, claudia is saving all her sex for a pit bull of a tort lawyer.

i'm not keen to harsh on cow-audia, though she deserves it, but to point out that if her kind of behavior is slipping through the quality controls in the ter provider review pages, there must be many, many other cases even more confusing to the average reader. like i said: when is a ROB an ROB?

San Diego has its Bridgitte & Austin, that much I knew, & I've now made note that the Bay Area has its favorite in Claudia.  As to who's most infamous, you'd probably find a lot of guys in the LA area might nominate our own special sweetheart Zara, the lady with as many names as Kellogs has corn flakes...a true woman of mystery.

As to the guys who see these "ladies" (very liberal usage of the word), I stopped feeling sorry for them a long time ago.  They can't have suddenly discovered TER only after getting ripped, so they should have know going in.  And if they were silly enough to think it would be different this time because it was them, they're equally as dumb as the guy who didn't do his homework.  While I don't like to see misfortune befall anyone, I can draw an analogy: getting car-jacked by someone with a gun & leaving your car unlcoked with the engine running & a full tank of gas.  I really find it hard to feel badly in the latter case....not talking about the "perps"--just the victims.

But with some efforts by the ROB herself and/or after a certain period of time without another rip-off report, she can be removed from the list.

I've alerted TER on this particular case, but even I can't keep all of the ladies profiles updated in the SF database.

These profiles are updated only through Problem Reports. When you see profile discrepancies, click on Report a Problem and list the things that need to be changed in the profile and site your source, whether you read it in a review, many reviews, or wrote it yourself.

I do this whenever I run across these things, but it takes all of us to make the reviews valuable for everyone.

In Claudia's case, I'll make sure she stays on the Rip-Off, red-letter list.

Is that they keep the ROB's in business, so they can rip-off more people. No, I don't feel sorry for them, I'm pissed.

actually, i considered hooking up with claudia several months ago, before i even knew a service like ter existed. not sure that state of ignorance is the same as leaving my keys in my car, but there i was.

now, i didn't follow through because her reply to my inquiry email, all lovey dovey like i get ("the caring guy" that i am), was something like "i require $1000 up front and nonrefundable to meet you. the first session is for two hours no exceptions." and i thought, gee, why do i feel like i've been slapped? so i deleted her.

there is a chain of inquiry available here. after the email comes the "get acquainted call," and after that the face to face. usually us rovers submit to the call because the minx asks for it, but you know, we can damn well screen the minx too, and we should if we want to avoid a bad outcome.

as riker pointed out in an earlier post, you can always turn around and walk away, or simply ask her to leave your room. hotel security is close at hand, if need be. if the pix are wrong, or the vibe is wrong, or the anything isn't what you expect ... you can walk away. that *is* a situation comparable to leaving your keys in your car, and if you go ahead anyway and do what your gut doesn't like, i don't feel pity for ya either. and i'm a *caring guy*.

Sometimes it takes several problem reports to get a profile or other problem corrected.  So if it is not corrected the first time you file a problem report you need to be persistent.

Riker...I couldn't agree with you more, & I've said as much in the past many times.  These bitches take money that could have, & should have, been spent on all the marvelous ladies who make every effort to make us happy...& who happily are able to do exactly that.  I don't toss around disrepectful terms like bitch too often, but there are women who deserve it & in that case I  have have no trouble calling a spade a spade.

Drollere...Your situation as stated is different.  If someone isn't aware of resources like TER & gets ripped, then all that can be said is that he lacked information.  But it's the guy who knows of the resource & is too lazy to research, or egotistical to believe the evidence is the one who, IMO, leaves his keys in the car.

As to the TER definition of a rip-off, there have been other posts in the past on the subject.  It basically seems to boil down to this:  a question of whether the gal (or driver) walked away with your bucks or not.  For example...If you arrange an outcall situation & pay for a room, you've spent money.  She shows up & fails to deliver as advertised or promised, but you didn't give her anything more.  I don't think this review would be accepted if it was submitted as a "1"--even though you're still out money, just as you would be if there was no room cost & what left your wallet entered her purse.  To me it seems like splitting hairs but that shouldn't make a great deal of difference.  If a guy is going to only check the rip-off board, then he's an accident waiting to happen anyway.  If he checks the reviews & finds "2s" instead of "1s" then he's equally as foolish.

one design point ... the navigation buttons on each profile page -- "go back," "add to favorites," "see provider's profile," "view website" and "link to this review"-- are really navigation actions bringing new content to a content seeking user.

the sole button "report a problem" is a communication link, and not a very interpretable one either -- i've always read it  to mean "report a broken link" or "report a bad phone number."

it would be useful to bring that link down into a text line inserted below the head, or above the reviews. something like: "Find something wrong? -- bad phone number, wrong profile information, dead web site? CLICK HERE to submit a problem report."

this calls out the reporting as a separate action, defines what it is the user is asked to do, and makes it visually more prominent on the page. all will increase your response rate.

LOL...guess I'm left out, 'cuz I think her response was directed to riker & yourself.  That's OK, I'm not into the 2-guy 1-gal sort of thing.  But I could prime her engine for you guys? :)

Recently, there have been numerous agencies that post pictures of beautiful models, and fail to deliver in California (San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles), Chicago, and Washington, DC.  They play the "bait & switch" game or the "cash & dash game".

Claudia is a good example of a ROB.   But there are many others as well.   Some of them are local, and others are visitors -- take Wilma aka Mira for instance.

So, to avoid getting taken to the cleaners do your research.   In addition to the reviews, also take a peek at the appropriate Regional Board for RIP-OFF alerts.  If you are visiting SF, there are numerous posts on the SF Regional board identifying ROBs.

For your convenience, attached is an example of a ROB alert posted on the SF Regional Board
