Since I'm OLD enough to have seen this "movie" BEFORE ("S.A.R.S.," "chicken virus," etc, etc.), I know how it ENDS - "Nothing to see hear, folks.  Move it along!"  :(
Meanwhile, one of her only BENFACTORS of the situation is the MEDIA, which takes the occasion to make MONEY off the increased attention/"eyeballs" on them by brewing an UNFOUNDED hysteria over an ailment that will end up killing LESS people than the common FLU.  :(
The only "silver lining," and this applies to mongers ONLY, is that, due to a lack of business caused by such hysteria, Asian providers may be forced to lower their rates.
Gotta feel for them and the UNFAIRNESS of the situation, though.  :(

YES, after seeing tweets from "harry chen phd" inside the quarantine zones. Everybody is comparing the coronavirus to the FLU but nobody is asking themselves. When was the last time 50+ million got quarantined because of the FLU? I will stop going to Asian massage parlors until this thing is under control.

There are 160+ cases outside of mainland China.  Only one of those persons has died.  There are just 8 known cases in the USA.   Your chance of getting hit by a meteor are higher than catching this at an AMP.

I predicted a week or so ago that at least "some" of the more stupid people would start avoiding AMPs, and as usual you can't go wrong overestimating the stupidity of the American Public.  Good thing this isn't 1920 instead of 2020 or we'd already be building internment camps.

 
I guess it's only right that white people are scared of diseases like this considering THEY are the ones that used a "white man disease" Smallpox to help wipe out the indigenous people here so they could steal their land.

Ok, yes I am still sober, but I plan on changing that VERY soon, I have a girl coming over for a pre Super Bowl romp  and then I am off to the bar, and if anyone thinks I am going to wait to start drinking until I get to the bar they obviously don't know me very well. lol

So Korean news was reporting that researchers have traced the virus to humans who eat cat feces from cats who have been fed bats.  This was supposed to have some curative or health promoting effect.   The Wuhan food market is famous for selling meat from just about any living thing. They even sell wolf puppy meat.  Whole fucking place should be nuked.  Thats the only way humanity will be safe, right?

And then of course if you'd like to ask the indigenous people of this country, they'd probably be in favor of wiping out every one on the planet who is white, considering the genocide, both intentional and unintentional committed by the European invaders to this continent.  

 
This is why we have the Second Amendment, I am not saying I could ever stop them from rounding me up and putting me in a camp someday, but I could seriously make at least a few of them regret the effort. Somehow, I just don't see myself "going quietly" just to make a few dumb crackers et al feel safer.

about Canada. . . . .  At the intersections, instead of gas stations on every corner, they have donut shops.  I say use a chemical weapon.   Take out the people but leave the donut shops standing.  We can send Chinese donut makers from here once its safe to go back.   I consider that I have "EARNED" two donuts a week after my Friday workouts, and I want to know I can still get them no matter where I happen to be in the world.  Lol

When I first heard the name...assumed it was a massive beer recall, lol.  

Today CNBC just had a special about it. So this may be the peak financial impact.  

I remember the SARS panic when I was in grade school...but that was before social media and it seemed like a big deal that even comedians joked about it...but it seemed like an overreaction at the end of the day. They say SARS was a coronavirus and we recently contained a much bigger deal of Ebola in the USA so I’m fairly confident this will pass with minimal societal issues. I don’t see a Resident Evil outcome.

So I made a sick joke about nuking Wuhan and Canada.  I had an appointment downtown  LA and took the  short cut through Chinatown.  Now I have an upper respiratory infection and am coughing up poutine.
