I don't think a Tivo can record in HDTV.  I have a Tivo and I can't.

Following on a thread from the San Diego Discussion Boards about a "two-some," all I want for Christmas is two beauties under my tree. The big problem is deciding upon which two!

Maybe it's because of all the commercialization, maybe it's because Christmas promotions now start around July instead of Thanksgiving, maybe it's just because I'm aging, but gifts are no longer hold much meaningfulness for me.  Dinner with family and friends is good. Watching a football game, with a leftover turkey sammich is good. If I could have a "gift" of my choice, I suppose it would be a week off, on a beach in the Caribbean, and time alone to spend with a good book. Second choice: Pamela Anderson making a video with me.

I was told buy a sales guy at Good Guys that there is suppose to be a HD version of Tivo 1st quarter of next year.  He said he heard the price tag would be around $1,000.

What I would do for one of those....I really need an SUV for the weather!

I could use a whole bunch of furniture for my new house, another new car, or maybe something a little less materialistic like more time at home than on the road or a whole bunch of regulars to keep me busy at home... LOL
