By starting new threads on old topics that already have one, two, three or more threads, it completely ignores the posts that other members have already put in. Some of their stuff is classic, they are great topics for their importance, wit, humor, interaction of members, and just because it's an age-old thread does not automatically mean the question or the answers are invalid. Personally, I enjoy reading the questions and answers that I find on this website, I see no reason any one of us has to be or should be deprived of them. If anyone sees a date of original posting that they think is too old to jump into reading or responding, no one is forcing them to do so. I really don't believe what I do scares people away from this place.

Also, by suggesting that I start a new thread, there are some people who remark that off-repeated topics have already been discussed before, effectively shutting down new attempts at bringing them up.
