I would really like to hear back from only Hobbiest and Providers that have really done this.

I have a special ATF that got into the hobby due to job loss and has only been at it for about 2 months. She is amazing in every way. I've been meeting her once/week for a while now. Of course we enjoy talking after the deed and she has always wanted me to stay way longer than time paid which made me feel great. She is incrediable, smart, college educated, single mom who like all of us, have bills to pay. I asked her if she liked the hobby and she said not really but she has bills and a child to provide for. I asked her the minimum she needed per week (as business in this area is unbeliveable slow) and she said at least two guys/week. I asked her would she be interested only seeing me and taking her adds offline. She said she would love to as she enjoyed my company more than I knew. That is why she always wanted me to stay. I'm already spending per week what I would give her so that is not the issue.

What I would like to hear from you ladies/gents that has done this is what is the perks but what is the downfall. How long did it last...etc. Trying to get another persons perspective on this as I know my judgement is cloudy.

As alwasys I appreciate everyones imput on TER but this time I want someone that's been there, done that and got the tee shirt!!

eventually one of you will feel uncomfortable about the money part

you will decide that a relationship is a better way to go and the money is no object.

Because she does not particularely care to be in the hobby when the money need is gone...she finds a job or man to replace it...she is done.

The questions is really....can you handle the the decission when she makes it if you are or are not that one she picks?

If you're married, I think the arrangement makes a lot of sense. It is very common for affluent married men to "keep" mistresses on the side.

If you're single, I begin to wonder a bit since by definition it's a limited or faux relationship.

How do you feel about meeting the kid?

If so, you may be headed for the kind of trouble that civvy relationships bring. And I avoid civvy relationships like the plague - too much, WAY too much drama. You have to think about her commitments and relationships as well.

The nice thing about the hobby is that you enjoy your relationships a few hours at a time with no strings or entanglements. Your scenario is way outside of the hobby frame of reference - more like the occasional question about converting a hobby relationship into a sugar daddy type.

So, let's say you go forward. How do you know that the lady is not doing the same deal with others? or continuing to provide to others? Does this question annoy you? If so, you're already in trouble.....

In my case the lady in question has become my SO, and is still in the biz though she has gone UTR and we cohabit. I'm fine with that. I see it as a relationship of mutual convenience. I don't care what she does with her body when I'm not around (and the reverse is also true) as long as we both play somewhat safe. But I did not have family commitments, children, etc. that could have been thrown under the bus.

Perhaps some other responders will provide further useful insight. I hope some of the ladies in the biz will respond and give you the benefit of their experience as a provider and as a woman.

Dude, she's got a kid. Duckbill8 might not want to get too involved himself. If she finds a guy, it will be one who's interested in taking on the kid. I don't think most hobbyists take their need to get their rocks off that far.

There's nothing wrong per se with what you are getting into as long as you keep your eyes wide open.

My SO is a provider but our personal circumstances made it very appropriate for us to become an item.  We've been together for over three lovely years now.

I wish you and her all the happiness and luck that two nice people should have.  You will have to decided if each of your personal circumstances make this appropriate, to say nothing of your temperments, goals in life, etc.

I would suggest a visit to TER resident advice for affairs of the heart expert:  The Love Goddess, over on The Erotic Highway Board.  Give her all the skinny she needs and she will be able to set you up right.
