Ultimately no. But some names make me not click through

Have you ever been turned off from seeing a provider because of her name? Perhaps she has the
first name of your wife, daughter, niece etc?  I've viewed a large number of profiles in the last 13
months & do not recall seeing a Mary. Just wondering.

There was an ad in the local weekly paper for a gal named Rhea   (You know the old joke about the Rhea sisters, Gona and Dia).  I thought that was a very strange name so I steered clear of her.

Now the pay-off:   I was chatting with an old girl friend of mine, and mentioned how I occasionally saw gals who had ads in that paper.   Her face lit up and she told me that she was hustling by putting  up ads.  Her handle?  Yup, Rhea!

But I had moved on.

Some names appear to have been picked as an ethic cue. If that’s not an ethnicity That gets my motor running I don’t click and look at ad.  But it’s not always correct and the name has no bearing on their ethnicity.  But a gal that looks good to me, well looks good to me.

Kinda like Donna Chang from Seinfeld.

If I happened to be out there I would certainly give her a pass.

But I know some who pronounce it "ray" not "ree-ah" or "ray-uh".   I think the actress Rhea Perlman says "ree perl-man."
.
But I guess "dye-a-ray" and "gon-na-ray" aren't as funny as names as "dye-a-ree-uh" and "gon-na-ree-uh."
.
"You can call me Rhea or you can call me Jay or you can call me May ... just don't call me Late for Dinner."

I HAVE passed lately on two ladies who's ads said she had an "infectious smile", and she would "contaminate my thoughts for days", respectively.

When I first started, my stage name was Nasty Soors. For some reason, guys did not respond well to the name, so I changed it to Rasha.

Guess you didn't look very hard.

As far as provider names I might avoid, there's been a few names I had no interest in clicking on, and some other creative names, that made me click just because of the name.

Having the same name as a sister, niece etc., would not bother me at all. Why should it? Would that bother you in civvy life? You wouldn't date someone because she has the same name as your sister? That's kind of odd. I know a woman who is married to a Bob, and has a brother and father named Bob. Her father in law is also a Bob, and her husband Bob's sister married a Bob too. True story. Family get togethers must have been fun. Yell "Hey Bob" and five people turn around. Lol.

Anyway some providers have unique names and some have very common girl names. One of the first escorts I ever saw had the same name as my sister (a very common girl name), and I have seen many over the years that had names of people I know in "real" life.

Yeah, my birth name does not scream dominatrix like "Mistress Scarlet Monroe". LOL

It would be funny if they used their real name, because everybody assumes its a fake name.

The problem was, that was her real name which sounds a lot more "hookerish" than her actual hooker name.

Her last name sounded kind of like "Wild."
I always laughed when a news reporter would be talking about some case and say "Circuit Court Judge Bambi Wild..." How do you take a judge seriously with a name like that? That would be a hell of a hooker name though.

In 1977 a production assistant named at NBC news named Bambi Tascarella was also listed in the credit crawl at the end of each news cast.  Someone in Iowa thought it was a funny name and started a Bambi Tascarella Fan Club just on the basis of the name.  They invited her out for Bambi Tascarella day, which she accepted.  David Brinkley and John Chancellor found out about the club and asked to join.  They were made presidents of the Washington DC and New York chapters respectively.  She appeared as a guest Tom Snyder's show.  Even George Bush the elder knew her name. Her birth name was actually Mary Zawisha.  Her nick name was Bambi and she married a guy with the last name of Tascarella.  She continued to work at NBC for many years.  She'd be in her 70's now.

Her father was shot by hunter and her mother died in a forest fire.  She was adopted and raised by others of different ethnicities.
