Twitter and the hobby. Maybe there is a use for it after all..regular_smile

I would never sign up on twitter for privacy reasons, but I have found that it may be a good hobbyist research tool.

Birds of a feather do flock together. They are called "followers".
While researching an agency that I suspect as B&S I was linked to twitter. I read some tweets and clicked on to a few followers. One of the followers is a B&S agency, and I had noticed a duplication of photos between the websites. I now suspect that both agencies are owned by the same person. Very interesting indeed.

if she is indiscreet in terms of twitter posts, likes to put down her clients... or if as you say it is an agency and they have some funny "followers", it is nice to know. More grist for my personal DNS list.

Actually if she twitters at all I consider it "strike one".  I'm very much a UTR kinda guy despite my often brash board personna lol....

not exactly a total dealbreaker but it gives me an idea that discretion is not a priority. when a lady's business email shows up as a suggested friend i take notice. in a few cases i've been surprised to find social networking pages linking providers and friends, SOs and family.

that, i think, is inviting a lot of attention from folks with hostile intention. it is unwise, arrogant, foolish, or something else unwholesome. i'm not interested in figuring it out.

anyway, i posted a message to that effect on RO and got several interesting phone calls. apparently some WK created some hysteria by currying favor with a lady or two.

despite not outing anyone with that or this  post i did manage to get a surprising number of calls as a result. 2 calls i interpreted as being threats from some friends (including a male) of a provider who was under the delusion that i could only be talking about her.

so, to take my sails out of those winds, i've been changing phone numbers and emails used for hobby purposes.

so if there is any provider out there under the delusion i have been passing around provider personal information or links to find them on social networking sites, it is simply false.

I found my ATF on facebook...  We are real name friends & I would love to know more about her...  but (thunking head with palm) What was I thinking?  We discussed this in person but quickly concluded that it was totally indiscreet for her & me.

Use my hobby handle and enjoy following providers.  A useful tool to get a window into their personas and also to update when they are coming to my city.

But anyone who follows a provider under his real name or identity is an idiot.

And any escort who says anything but great things about clients under her escort name needs to shake their head and get an alias for that commentary...remember, the gents don't like it when we say anything disparaging about them...truth or not as they are the paying customer and we must realize that and act accordingly (at least under our escort names).

I understand that you gain insight into a provider's personality through Twitter, but wouldn't it be safer to do that through their website blogs instead?

The whole world isn't looking at her website blogs, but they sure can Twitter.

Safer for the escort or safer for me???
