First, I'm not sure how much is complimentary and not insulting. Second and I think most importantly, I never try to negotiate. It's my feeling that a provider has determined what she thinks is the best donation for her time when she posts her rates and that's exactly what I donate. Some providers I've been with weren't the level of companionship as their rates, others exceeded it. Idealistically, we would live in a perfect world, which would mean no cheating. But we don't live in that world. Have I ever cheated? No. Would I? I don't think so, but I have never been in a situation where I've been tempted to cheat on someone I've committed to. Here's what I am telling our friend here. It's nice to feel appreciated. However he wants to appreciate us is his choice, but it's nice to make someone's day.
