What Makes You Trust Someone Quickly?

Trust can form surprisingly fast  sometimes within the first few messages, or even the first few seconds of meeting someone. Other times, it never really shows up, no matter how much time passes.

Some people say it’s consistency: words matching actions, clear communication, no sudden changes. Others mention tone  how someone speaks, listens, or responds without rushing. A few say they trust their gut more than anything else, even if they can’t explain why.

What I find interesting is that trust often comes from very small signals. Eye contact, calm energy, honesty about limits, or simply feeling that nothing is being hidden. Not perfection  just transparency.

It made me curious how different this is from person to person.

So I’m wondering:
What makes you trust someone quickly?
Is it communication, behaviour, intuition, or something else entirely?

Trust is earned.

Not given.
Definitely not bought
It takes time.

Some providers ive been seeing for years and ive never built up any level of trusf whatsoever.

Thing is, in this industry, you wont know that you cant trust someone until its too late.

You openly talk on the boards and in your reviews of seeking out gay and transexual providers that don't require, and it sounds like don't even suggest, using condoms. Yet here you are making a post about not trusting providers, some you have seen for years. You are an enigma wrapped in an oxymoron, to put it lightly. Very odd indeed.

First of all, any reputable provider is considered trustworthy to an extent - at least as far as not being LE or a ripoff. What are you referring to exactly?

Trust is a two-way street. I've had a handful of ladies trust me enough to provide info about their real lives and that encourages me to trust them back. Sometimes it evolved over time but it's also happened right off the bat.

Trust is an illusion, same as an illusion of passion.  Not real.

When I’ve had a few good sessions with a provider, I “trust” that my next one will be equally as good! Reasons - recent accurate photos, delivers on list of activities in session, sincere attempt to make me enjoy my time, attempts to be sexy and make me feel that way, comfortable post coital conversation, unrushed finish. If I feel good enough to come back I usually trust that the provider will deliver again. Is there some other trust that I should have with her?

I’m never quite sure whether it’s a trust thing or simply a personality thing, but I tend to approach any visit with openness and honest communication from the start. Before I even arrive, I’ll ask about the little preferences or if I can bring anything—soda or wine, red or white, favorite snacks, Toys ;-). Sometimes I’ll bring flowers if I see a note about it in their preferences, and if they’re coming to me, I make sure there are refreshments, food, or at least a cold glass of water waiting.

I show up freshly showered and put together—not out of routine, but to make it clear I’ve taken time to look good for them. I want the other person to know I didn’t just show up on autopilot; I put intention into the moment so it feels considered, not rushed or transactional.

I also like to let the other person make the first move. I’ve found that giving the moment a little space allows the energy to build naturally and sets a relaxed, comfortable tone for the evening.

One thing I’m especially mindful of is asking what is and isn’t okay. Not because it dampens anything—quite the opposite. It removes uncertainty, avoids awkward moments, and lets us enjoy ourselves fully and without hesitation.

Now, all that said… there have been two occasions where I did all of this and, for whatever reason, the energy never quite opened up. In every other case though—and I very much mean we—had an exceptionally good time. My reviews do not reflect all of the providers I have seen.
