Ok going to talk about rates and a pet peeve and an observation. First the observation. Nobody knows me here so there's no need to impress. I only offer this info as perspective. I AM a man of means and I am amazed at the rates many ladies charge. Clearly they are getting their rate otherwise rates would be lower. Clearly Vegas, LA, NY are higher than elsewhere. My confusion is who is paying some of these exorbitant rates. I'm talking about 1k and higher. Clearly high rates are subject to each individual but again I have the means but to spend 1k and more seems excessive. Thoughts. My pet peeve are providers who advertise high rates (pick your number) and there is no face photo. I get the privacy issue but really $1k and no idea of their features. Just my 2 cents. Input appreciated.
While certainly not uber wealthy, I am a person of some means as well. But when looking at rates, you also have to look at the additional time bc many times the rate is front loaded into the first hour and subsequent hours are much less.

Look, some people will shell out 100K for a car and I drive a 2021 Toyota Camry. Could I afford a nicer car? Sure, but my Camry is just fine. Everyone has their preferences and their thresholds. All I can say is that I love this hobby and I budget accordingly and I have had experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
Rates have gone up. Definitely not news. I live in an affluent area and the number of ladies who are charging $1K and up now is quite large. And I'm not talking about well established ladies - it seems any lady in her 20s who is pretty hot now thinks that $1K is an entry level rate. Finding $500 ladies is now a challenge. There is a pretty good selection at $700 or $800. I too have the means to do it, but I have had more disappointing experiences with $1K ladies than ones I felt were worth it. I have a small rotation of $400-$600 ladies that I enjoy seeing regularly, so that mostly what I stick with. Every so often, when someone comes along who checks all my boxes, I'll pony up, but more often than not, I come away feeling like I didn't get my money's worth.
Thank you for your input Robert. I too will splurge occasionally but I still have a hard time believing there are enough guys willing to pay 1k or more for a one hour date. I will share that I am a dinosaur and I always say that everyone has to make a living but I just don't know where all the buyers are coming from and how they can afford it.
I have commented on this before, most of the "higher end" providers have another full time job. If and when they get a date it is a little bonus money but they are not relying on it to pay their bills. I know a handful of gals that actually do this full time and they are all in the midrange price wise.
It mostly seems to be people arguing with each other over minutia. Endlessly.

I don't disagree. For me, I feel this one is a bit more so than some others.
This isn't a dynamic board in the sense that there are not new things to talk about all the time, so many subjects get rehashed and recycled. It is what it is I guess. Rapidly rising rates is probably the newest shake up to this lifestyle so I see why it gets brought up so much.
I think there are topics that tend to repeat over time. And, there are ones that tend to repeat what feels like all of the time. I feel like this is one of the biggest offenders. And sure, I get why the OP and others keep bringing it up. I think I'm just a bit past talking about it more.

I’m not sure about everyone else, but me personally I don’t see how I would not be $1k+ an hour. I blur my face because of privacy. I don’t have any other occupation at this time. I provide for mi familia as the head of my household single mom life is not easy. I have spent decades in this wonderful industry. I love this lifestyle! I just traveled to visit one gentleman for a dinner date. We are all not the same. I prefer multiple hour dates. One hour dates are not my target. 🎯
I just met a gentleman last month that I traveled to see for 3 days & now I flying to him again this next month. I travel for one person. I don’t want to see multiple people on any given day. I only wish to share my time with people who appreciate me as a human being. Romance, passion, sexual tension, appreciation, respect, attention, desire are a few things I provide it’s more, than just what some are seeking. Connection.
There were a few reasons why I raised my rates.
To many people reached out before, hotel costs are higher and I started diving into another business adventure outside of this fun adventure.
It also helped me take care more of me, I feel more rested and definitely feel like I can give always 110% for each booking.
I recently changed to become a no face provider and I totally understand the issue about not knowing how a provider looks. My face has always been a big reason why I got booked.
I ended up deciding that I am happy to send a selfie to clients who reach out/subscribe to my newsletter.
LA, NYC, Vegas, etc are where the rich live, so of course there are enough people in those markets who can afford 1k+ for a gorgeous spinner. But these markets also have a good supply of mid-price providers albeit typically with body types to match eg curvy.
Also most traveling indies are more expensive than locals (who want to develop a good set of regulars).
Finally, keep in mind more girls can make a good living from sites like Onlyfans so no pressure...they can wait for the whales with the bigger wallets.

Just like there are different business strategies for different products, so too are there different strategies ladies might use to price their services. For my part, I don’t usually consider girls who aren’t at least $1k/hr. But maybe that’s because I don’t know any better… I am new after all!
Ultimately though, there’s more to a girl’s hourly rate that I look for when I select someone to reach out to. Chemistry is really important to me, and I’m willing to pay a premium for high quality GFE, especially if there’s a chance of a genuine connection. However, if I just wanted to get my d*ck wet, maybe I’d feel differently.
So what do I look at? Well, there’s obviously her rate. But then there’s her pictures. Regardless if she blurs her face, are they well done? Are they professionally taken, or are they just a bathroom selfie? What about her website? Professionally done, or scrapped together? And the content? Thoughtful, or uninformative? What about her screening process? Involved or really light? Does she charge a deposit? If so, how much? Does she list the cost of longer dates? If not, why? If so, what does the curve look like? Linear, exponential, logarithmic?
All of these things are indicators of how she perceives the business and of her strategy. For instance, is she high volume, low volume? Does she focus on longer dates, or shorter ones? Does she invest in herself and her success?
There’s so much more that you can learn about a provider than just assessing her rate. There’s even sometimes variability with the same provider depending on the market, which I can totally understand and respect.
But again, if you’re just looking for a human fleshlight, $1k/hr is probably frustrating.

So just a little side story about marketing and rates. I know a gal who openly shares that she has two "personas" for her business, one regular mid range and one high end. She blurs her face in both so guys do not know. She said the high end persona is her at fancy restaurants, designer clothing, exotic places etc. while her other persona is more selfies and just her at her apartment. She says the service she provides is identical in both but just different price point hotels and marketing. She said so far only one guy tried to book her from both websites so she came clean and told him both were her. LOL
The fact that she is pulling it off is truly impressive. Always have to appreciate the hustle!!
Some years ago there was a provider from down South who was a very active poster here. It turned out she had two personas like the example you presented. This was not received well here and she left the boards.
That was a shame since I enjoyed her posts, in which she said she enjoyed "a thorough railing."
And who knows how many others there are like her and the person you describe.
I am sure there were a lot of guys that would be pissed knowing that they could book the same gal for $400 vs the $1,000 depending on which ad they responded to!! LOL This gal I was talking about was from NYC and I have not heard from her in a few years so not sure if she is still in the business. Prime example how slick marketing can make all the difference!!

A little prospecting and being a good, respectful client has led me to the point where my most expensive provider is $450.
I love it when one these ladies says "I have a friend..."! By this route, I've met a few UTRs who meet my needs perfectly. They are are hot, but don't want to fully commit to the escort life. They do want someone who is discrete, respectful and drama free.

First, I would say there are men of means and the there are men of means -- in other words every solidly upper middle class might hesitate at 1K for an hour but there are people who don't think a thing about dropping 10K for something they like.
At 1K that is about 3 3-3.5 appointments so they need about a third the customers they otherwise might need. Market may well support that.
It's been mentioned before that one finds some of these girls advertising on different venues at different rates so perhaps not everyone is paying those rates you're wondering about.
And, as Scarlet points out, some of these girls will just be doing this as a side gig so volume both unnecessary and very difficult to accommodate into an already full schedule.
Camming, making personal videos, OF, etc are all additional revenue streams so girls dont have to go out as much and thus there isn't that pressure on them to offer a lower, in person, rate.
I have also seen some ladies who have a fair amount of regulars who are at old rates. They have enough from them to more than cover their needs. These regulars repeat more often, book longer dates, tip, and tend to shower them with gifts. They reach a point where they feel any new clients need to pay a premium.
I know this is an old subject and I am an experienced businessman so I truly understand all of the good business arguments for a provider to charge what the market will bear. I'm coming at it from the opposite direction. I'm not complaining about pricing. Lolling at this from the perspective of how many men there are that are paying such high rates. It's similar to how it'baffles me as to how many people drive "luxury cars". I will tell you my theory and I have a lot of experience managing people's money and giving financial advice. Most people live beyond their means. They are the same people who are playing $100 and up a hand at the blackjack table and are schoolteachers (very honorable profession). Most people don't save nearly enough to retire and/or handle life's financial emergencies. Not judging, everyone has different priorities. I guess I was testing the waters to see if some folks agree with me. Again, NOT complaining about pricing I just happen to believe a large percentage of those paying them are really really stretching to do so. Again their choice.
Yes, Yes, and YES!!! 50% of people over the age of 50 have ZERO saved for retirement. And yes, you are correct when you say most people live beyond their means. The average American has over $100,000 in debt.
I also have a business degree and a business background that has come in very handy when I started in the hookering business. So many people are trying to keep up with the Joneses when the Jones family is up to their eye balls in debt and miserable. I am at a price point that I think is fair but also allows me to make a lot of money. It is a win win in my book.

We have some great talent that command a heavy fee but what we've seen is an across the board hike in prices with many young new faces coming into the market pushing $500/hr+ with zero history behind them. Per capita, I also think that Vegas has more providers but I've found exceptional and proven talent out there at prices that would be considered moderate back home. That said, there's still dudes lining up but at the end of the day if you carefully shop your travel and "bundle" your fun, it's cheaper to fly off to Texas, AZ, Orlando or Vegas and enjoy 4-5 ladies over the course of a short vaca and subsidize your flight/accommodations with the savings. There's seems to be some correlation to where Sun Country has flights actually.
$1000 in Tryst ads in Chicago is fairly recent and now I am seeing $1500. I guess I can afford it, but I would never pay that, plus they want 50% deposits. I’ll pass.
