Excellent topic as I am preparing for a date and this is always part of the prelaunch checklist. However I never go bare because I have sensitive skin not to mention that I am scared to death of getting my nuts caught in the trimmer. Plus looking like a prepubescent is just kind of a turn off.
So instead I tend to trim down to just a couple millimeters which gives it a nice peach fuzz feel and then manually trim the more dangerous zones.
However recently I have been kind of jonesing for a woman who is a bit more naturally trimmed herself. Nothing jungle looking, think more like Ashlyn Gere's bush back in the early nineties.

I just started "manscaping" a little over a year ago because the woman I was dating asked me too. Up until this point I had never so much as trimmed down there. I was under the impression that putting a razor or trimmer anywhere within 6" down there was too close. She made me a deal I could not refuse so I bit the bullet and trimmed the hair to 1/2" with trimmers and took the razor and shaved the balls and surrounding. Your skin is much tougher than you can imagine. I have never once cut myself so much of even a nick. I shave down there every day in the shower just like I am shaving my face. It is safer than shaving your face. I also outside the shower shave down there every three days because I find the peach fuzz bugs me and have found the ladies typically will not suck or lick your balls if you have peach fuzz because it is more like stubble than peach fuzz. Being clean shaven daily and having very short hairs has been a great big win in my personal life and in this world.
As long as I am able to have sex I will be shaving daily and manscaping every third day, that is a guarantee.
As an older gent I don't man scape, trim or alter nature in any way - body hair is curly and a bit grey but fortunately (for the ladies) not gorilla like (lol)

Google "body bare pubic hair razor" and you can get them from Amazon or eBay. You can't cut yourself with this. When your balls are smooth as silk they get lots and I mean LOTS of extra attention.
