"Something/Someone is only worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it"
is a great quote but how do new providers determine their rate?

How do providers decide how much to increase their rate up to and when?

If you are not grandfathered when a provider raises her rates will you see her at the new rate?

What do you hobbyist think your method would be to determine how much to ask!!!!!!

I have a lot of clients who have told me they will not see providers who do not charge at least $500. - that seems to be a number that crosses a lower volume indicator to them.

I recently had met a few guys during a welcome package I offered during my move that told me they probably never had seen me before because of a search function on another site they can put in the max amount which was disqualifying me from their search.

This question is not if a girl is worth her rate, only curious as to what factors are used to justify it

I think I'm worth at least one million dollars/1 hour :D but I'm a realist (living in Las Vegas, a saturated market) so my current gratuity is $350/1 hour.

There are many factors to consider, but basically, if the phone stops ringing, you're too high. Find your niche where it rings the right amount for your purposes.

Also, grandfathering pretty much doesn't work for me. If you raise your rate, and your phone is ringing steadily, you're going to put your lower priced grandfathered guys on the B list. They'll get to see you, last minute, on a slow day. Since I have to plan days in advance or more, I never get to see them.

So 500 is the new 300? That's funny. I've always thought the lower volume indicator was a little self important. There are some really hot ladies who can bring it, who charge under the lower volume indicator. Guys are missing out on some unbelievable experiences with their indickators.

I think some folks don't get that important point. Beyond that, it's really about how you want to run your business. At least in my experience, ladies with higher donations have other jobs. This is not true across the board but generally speaking. So if I have a slow spell (right before the election, ahem, lol), then I'm not worried because I have other income. I keep my donation higher because I want to limit my clientele. But another lady might have different needs than myself and she decides to have a lower donation and more clients. It's about playing with the balance.

Another issue is location. You can be the hottest woman in the world but if you are based in Wyoming, it's unlikely you would be able to charge more than an average provider in NYC. It's just due to saturation of wealth and also cost of living.

A third factor is what other ladies are doing. Other ladies in my area that had lower donations than myself are raising theirs. So I raised mine. You sort of have to ride the wave of the market in your area.

AND what others are willing to pay -- if they don't overlap then you're out of business.

I simply add up all my assets and then subtract all my liabilities, what is left is my "worth" lol

Actually all your questions summed up are very easy to answer, The woman sets her rate where she wants to and then the market tells her if she is/was correct.

and lastly, people come up with all sorts of rationalizations to justify just about everything they do. I remember Zoe was here the other day trying to justify her $1,000 rate. It didn't look like she made many converts. Those who were happy to cough up a grand an hour are still happy to do so and the rest of us failed to be convinced. Big surprise, right?

What I don't understand is why a guy will be willing to pay $600 to see a provider, and then try to nickel and dime another one that already has a lower rate. That is so frustrating, and does not make you want to spend time with him, as he obviously doesn't value your tim

I hate to say this, but if a guy has reviews of $600 hr hookers and then tries to get a $300 hr gal to lower her rates, it's pretty obvious he doesn't think the $300 hr gal is "all that" Or I suppose he was completely enamored with the $600 girl/s

If I were a hooker I suppose I would be a bit insulted too. Just one of the many reasons I am not a hooker, lack of demand being at the top of that list of course. lol

if you have an over-supply of lower cost providers, you will have trouble getting enough volume if you are a higher priced provider. Not saying every guy goes for the bargain basement types either.  It's just like any other business, you determine the "net profit" you want to make and build the budget upward from that.

Its more of your market, and what you are willing to do. I think thats what makes up a price range.

if you are GFE and you're working out of a big city then you can charge extra rather if you were in a medium income neighborhood and weren't very open minded to extra activities.

ps. every girl is "worth" millions. ;
